Horsewright Knives and Leather

Thanks amigo. Sure enjoyed reading about it.👍🤠
Ya bet! Didn't have time this morning to find some pics but here is Ben with a Horsewright Paisano at a duck hunt. He's also wearing a Horsewright wildrag.

Here's the pommel bags I made him. Basically saddle bags for the front of the saddle. These fit over the saddle horn. These were very popular in early California for carrying cap and ball revolvers:

Working on a new batch.

Here are the first two of a new model The Elk Guide;

While I was grinding blades I went ahead and did some steak knives although they will be in the next batch not this batch. I have three different orders for sets of steak knives.

Got the bolsters on and the first side of the handles on the current batch:

Today I'll trim off all the excess and get the other sides on.

You bet my friend! After almost solid rain for a week and a half, we had our first snow of the season last night. Lil more than a dusting but not quite an inch.
Rained some last night. Thankfully no snow yet. But do got the felt hat out 👍🤠

Great pic my friend! Yeah its that time of year!

I loaned my brother one of my Sonoran Belt knives for deer season. He got a nice buck this morning and used the SBK to skin his buck. He said the SBK worked great 🤠

That's really great David! Sure glad that worked out for him. Love seeing those types of pics. My knives might be purty but they are made for using!

I've been out working in the cold finishing off this latest batch. They're done and may even make the website tonight:
