5.0 is the good life. I did it for a year before I joined the Military. Then went to College for CJ, and now want to get back into LE.
 
There are a lot of callings out there. The real challenge is to truelly find what yours is.

Find something you love to do....and find out if you can make a living at it......pay isn't as important as happiness or satisfaction. I will be taking a significant paycut to be doing this. But I will be happy.

That is a solid outlook.
I love my job but took a giant pay cut from my last. I still kind of struggle with the pay cut, but walking into traffic instead of going in to work never crosses my mind anymore!
