Mike, thanks for the heads up on the Simmons scope deal. I bought one for a 10/22 rifle that I'm working on. It is overkill but a little more than wanted is better than a less than needed.

Brian

Brian no problem Jeremey turned me onto that site. I put mine on my model 70 06. I ended up putting the 3x9 by 32 on my 10/22. I have a stainless laminate stock one.
Brian you will have to go on Simmons website print the 25% rebate form send in a copy of your reciept and the upc barcode. It is $35 you will get a rebate back for it.

Thanks man, that deal keeps on get better and better. That will buy a lot of .22 ammo.

Got my RMR for the FNP. Went to the range today to try it out. This is one of my best groups shooting semi-fast. As you can see, I need some practice.:o

nice shooting!

now,
please,
do something with that picture
its making me go cross eyed!

LOL Fug, the target was still moving (after rolling it back) when I took the picture.

Awesome Brian.

How do you like the RMR?

Pauli, I still have to adust it some more (didn't have a small enough screwdriver on my Leatherman), but it really pops much more than the standard front Trijicon sight. I bought the dual illuminated one that never needs batteries, but the tritium will wear out in 10-15 years. It will still gather ambient light to create the dot though.

Nice shooting man.
How do you like the gun, you know I'm looking for a new 45, so, your comments on that beauty will be appreciated.

Juan, it is a great gun so far. It has a low bore axis so there is not as much muzzle flip as a standard 1911. Mine is a FNP 45 Tactical and you can get a standard one for probably $400 less. The threaded barrel, removable plate to add an RMR, Trijicon suppressor sights, custom case, and 3 15 round magus add a lot to the price. From my experience so far I would recommend a FNP 45 Tactical or standard. BTW, it does have a standard 1911 style safety with the added benefit of a decocking lever too (everything ambi).

Thanks Brian.
If I get one It has to be the Tactical as well ;)
When you guys make the comparison with the H&K Mark 23, please, post comments and pics if its possible.

Readbear I am a sucker for wheel guns. I love my semi autos but my favorites are my single action revolvers and I have a real special place for my Colt King Cobra. I keep it loaded on my night stand with 158 grain jacketed soft points.
