No pots stirred, Rick :)

Imho Glock and H&K are pretty much equal in reliability,,, that's why I have both ;)

 :D

didn't mean to stir the pot here guys. just passing on what I observed.

Stir it up Man - We like Data :D

The P7M8 is much more accurate and faster than any Glock.;) It's also more expensive which is why the budget comes into play.

I've never played with one of these. Always thought it was an odd-ball weird looking gun. Give me some data on this? How is a squeeze-cocker faster than a "just pull the trigger gun?" :p :)

I think it's a misconception. If the P7 were that much faster, you'd see more of them in IPSC, IDPA, USPSA

great write up! pretty much hits the nail on the head. Like the author said, the P7 is a great weapon, but for a reliable combat weapon the glock still leads the way.

Have you ever shot a P7M8? :D or just read about them?

Still waiting for your reply one my original request as to why the HK's failed in your class. Enquirer minds need to know:D

Yes I've shot them. Also, I described the failures in the original post. Not sure what else you're looking for. Let me know and I'll get you whatever info I can.

I thought there were only two bloods

Yeah, I think only two were made with this Burgundy Micarta sofar,,,

In any case, that particular Camp Blood is a one of :D

ps: Rick, those H&K's that failed,,, did the owners tinker with them at all or were they stock guns ?,,, I think it was a fluke coincidence in any case,,, same thing might happen one day with 3 Glocks in your class ;)

Rick - I was curious if you had any more data available as to the reason the failures happened ie broken parts, dirty guns, bad shooting form etc. BTW - I agree that Glocks are no doubt a good combat weapon.

Congrats Ricker!
I was just on the Glock website and see your
dealership was approved!

Can you get me a deal on a Glock19?

I have to say, this conversations about Glock against other brands are a lot of fun, and they don't only take place in this forum.
I do support HK, I really like how they work...but that's my taste, right.
Got my self a new generation 9mm Glock, lets see how she turns out.
Took my babys for a ride yesterday night.
Sorry for the quality of the pic, it was taken 11.17.2010 at 9pm.
