Looks like all the action have moved here to this part of the Horton forums... I just hope Jeremy is doing well with his hole making and grinding and that one of his new born babys is for me. "insert smile and thums up" fu.... computer is broken "insert angry face here".

:Djust ordered 2 ak74's and 12 mags:D

very nice score!
I have been looking close at those myself
since you guys have been edjumakating me.

A regular citizen... where
could one shoot something like that?
Indoor gun ranges I thought were only for pistols.
Ive never seen an outdoor range anywhere around here.

it would be up to the range you were shooting at. i've been to an indoor range that let me shoot .308

I think I should stick with the ruger 10/22 first,then maybe a
smaller caliber handgun
(which I cant really have in my home in chicago)
Maybe a 357 that can shoot the 38 specials,
then I could have a bit of practice without breaking the bank.

One of those sights you guys posted led me to a
28 gauge shotgun?
I never heard of that,I thought
20 gauge was the smallest.
What would a 28 gauge be used for?

I love 28s and .410s. 28 is a very underrated upland gun IMHO. You can get 1 1/8 oz loads that work nicely on phesant, in a gun that is a pleasure to carry. The only problem is that 28ga is pretty pricey, and unless youshell out quasi big bucks your gonna wind up with a 28 built on a 20ga receiver which I think defeats the purpose...

Smallest shotgun i know of is a 9mm.........Winchester made it.....some French too.... made to shoot pigeons in town....

Ya,how does that work...
if I wanted to buy a legal to own gun here in chicago,
and say I wanted to buy it online,
how would that work
I take it I would submit my FOID card and thats it?
you can send guns in the UPS?
