I have that maratek AAA flashlight that guyon has.
I really like it because its so small I always have it with me.
Its not the highest quality,so I was looking for something else.
(i dont trust the clip)

I am seriously considering the Preon

I have 2 on order, I'll let you know how they are when I get them. The Quark Minis just came out too.

I'm still waiting for my Titanium Quark. :(

They shipped it on Oct 23 some cheapest shipping method - no tracking etc.

I would have paid few buck more for better shipping.

Took my maratak AAA

Different caulking tubes have different "nozzles"
you can also look at the big tubes of caulk for a tip that will fit a
AA flashlight.
The one in the photo has a hole in the very tip,so it can be used
as a regular flashlight beam without having to pull the tip off.
It fits snugly over the flashlight,so you can hold the body
of the light and turn the tube to go between brightness levels.
You can always shave the inside of the tube if its too small
for the light your using.

it is what it is
free!

I just took down a light in the gadgets and gear,, one I have been wanting. CHEAP...
A Nightcore EZ. AA. With Cree Q5. Man so cool..

Anyone seen this from 4sevens? Pretty cool  I received an email with a pic, but can not copy the pic. If you are interested, LMK, and I will email to you

We've decided to shrink-ray our classic Quark series into something even more pocketable - the Mini AA and Mini 123! Barely larger than their own batteries, the Quark Minis still put out enormous light - up to 189 OTF lumens from the Mini 123. The Mini's impressive output is thanks in part to their brand new CREE XP-G R5 emitters.

The Quark Minis are perfect pocket lights. Less than an ounce in weight (without battery), extraordinarily bright, and simple to operate (they use our Preon interface).

And here's the link http://www.4sevens.com/index.php?cPath=297_355
