Red is good for protecting night vision and I've heard blue is good for following blood trails at night.

Actually,I used the red filter when viewing my saltwater
fishtank at night. Many of the corals "open" at night and
will close up when they are illuminated
by unfiltered light source.

That is a nice X200 build Jeremy. If you put that 600 lumen drop-in in your X200, you won't even need bullets for the gun. You may need an extra magazine for the batteries though.
