well my hanging out on CPF has led to me sending my Surefire X200 off for a major overhaul.. after some Frankenstein work, that involves some welding,, she will be sporting a new 6P head that will accept drop ins.. taking her from the small one inch head and 60 lumen,, to the endless possibilities of the drop in,,


"The 5 outside rebels are running on their own independent shark running at 980mA; using custom .3" flood reflectors.
The 5 inside Cree Q4s are running on their own independent shark at 980mA; using trimmed minimag LED reflectors.
The center Cree Q5 is running on an independent downboy at 1000mA; using a trimmed mcr17 reflector.
The aluminum heatsink is one solid piece; with all electronics potted in thermal epoxy. The reflectors are held in focus and together with glow in the dark epoxy. The light will run on 6x123; 6xR123; or 3x17670 using a custom battery cage. When you put your hand in front of the light you can feel heat. The overall output is roughly 2000 lumens.

Well not exactly,, the interface was a bit wierd on the TK. Dad likes simple, to many click holds and double clicks for pops,, he got the Surefire 6P. A solid performer and no modes. Just. ,,, OWN. And OFT. Lol

i was gonna try to surefire him, rather than be surefire'd. i don't wanna piss off super heros and such to play with a toy
