Hot damn! One month challenge! Damascus edition!

I'm one week in to both the month challenge - and the straight carry for a year. She's getting some wear marks on her now; I kinda forgot how much I like the PJ patina process.

The particular CRK came quite sharp - maybe the sharpest out of the box I have received to date. The Damascus has a much "stickier" edge to it, it really bites into the material being cut.

I agree for some reason this steel seems like it takes a really really keen edge without much effort.
 
Man, all Mnandis in Damascus are so good looking. How frequent do CRK send them out?

You know you can carry more than just one - so when you pick a new one, this can stay in another pocket...
 
Ok so I was only gonna carry mine for a week to break it in but have decided to do the month instead. This knife came out of the box yesterday morning at 0500 and it spent the day doing not much as I was off work so lets call this day 1. Looking forward to spending some quality time with it.
