How about a Buck Spitfire in S90V?

Got to check mine out today. No blade play. Very slight lock rock. Very sharp and looks nice. I'm quite pleased

Checking out my new Spitfire (S-90-V). 3.2oz. No lock rock. No side play. Blade centered and sharp. Bos heat treat. Front lock mid release. Gold anodized Aluminum handles. Blade is 3", edge is 2 5/8". Carry R/L, tip up/down. Knife carries deeper tip down. I would like a longer blade with no recurve. Knife could be lightened by Swiss cheesing the handle. My other S-90-V blades are not laminated. They have neither broken nor rusted. Good to see Buck playing with a higher end steel.

I received mine today. It had some slight up and down play that seemed to lessen as I exercised it. The spring on my knife feels stronger than the "Extreem" and the Buck Collector S30V. My initial reaction was "whoa, that's Penn gold". I don't fish Penn Internationals anymore but still have my pops 50W ready just in case.

Hornet is such an awesome name for this knife. If the Spitfire was named after the plane, then with the steel upgrades this could be appropriately named after the F-18 Hornet.
