How about a forum knife PM2 w/ HAP40 Burnt Orange G10 Acid Stone washed Blade

As the title says, how many of you will be in?

I'm not sure what minimum quantities it would require; 500? Is it even possible since HAP40 is Seki City Japan and PM2 tooling a are in Colorado.
 
Has there ever been a blade forum spyderco?
 
Generally, no that is not possible. However, Spyderco has a Japanese model with S30V coming out.
PM2 burnt orange with CPM REX 45 though would be the ticket.
 
We can dream I suppose. I don't see it ever happening.

Heck, I'd go for a simple blade etch on a standard color, standard bladed PM2.
 
The as stated orange P2 w/HAP would be a go for me. And if some other choice, model depending (some are a little out there for me) I would be in as well. I have been meaning (looking for an excuse) to pull the trigger on a Sypderco and this would definitely persuade me. I'm sure I am not alone in this.
 
I am not into stonewashed blades at all and I am not sure what this would offer me over one of the two M4 Para2s coming out soon.

There are great American steels and great Japanese steels. Why can't we be content using the American steels in the American knives and the Japanese steels in the Japanese knives? I see the recent shippingof S30V to Japan as a giant loss to us as knife afis because it would appear as though we are not going to get to try as many of the Japanese steels as we could.
