Have enjoyed following this thread. We got back from Reno late Sunday and have been experiencing the good memories as well as the great knives we were fortunate to bring back with us.
Being at the show start to finish still didn't allow us to see everything and talk to everyone as we would've liked - evidence of what a great show it was. I've been two years in a row now and I suspect it will be an annual event for us.
Among other things we brought home Jerry Fisk's 'Wilderness' camp knife pictured at the beginning of this thread - with specific instructions from Jerry to not only use it, but abuse it every way I can! Will do, Jerry!
Other makers now represented in our collection as a result of the weekend in Reno include Daniel Winkler/Karen Snook, Mark Sentz, Rick Dunkerley, Audra Draper, Steve Dunn, Bailey Bradshaw, David Mirable, Dickie Robinson - and I'm saving this last one for shock value - Rick Eaton. His work is un-be-liev-a-ble !!
Here's a link to somewhat of a review I posted on another forum with lots of images related to the show and the Silver Legacy hotel, etc. Not a lot of knife images per se - yet - because it will take me time to properly shoot each knife. I oriented my 'review' toward the knife photography dudes I tend to hang out with on the forums. Still, if you were there you'll definitely get a kick out of the thread. And if you weren't there, you'll likely get a pretty good sense of things. Check it out if you like:
