How about some EsKabar pics?

I either gut the paracord and put a breakaway chain inside.
Or I use the snap clasps like they sell for nurse's ID tags.
If the chain breaks, then your lanyard gets progressively smaller, right? If it breaks too far from the "clasp", then you need to go buy a new one.

I'd rather have the paracord hold me! I'd always have the knife if I need to cut loose.

i ended up wrapping my sheath, which makes it quite versatile as a belt loop system. i can slip a belt under that, either side, for vertical or horizontal carry in any of 4 orientation or some crazy canted angles if i want:

I've got to find out how you did this!

use the included cord, remove the cord guts, now you have a flat tape :)

make one end pointy by a tape "fid" - that is, just wrap some packing tape around one end, tight, in a slight cone, non fray point...

and figure it out :) start with a basic X shape, then notice you have miles of cord left. then make some more crosses. eventually, it'll work out.

tip: put the cord through the top two, or botton two holes, both ends, and center. weave with both ends.

the picture says everthing :)

glad you like it

Hee's a pic of one of my Bk1-4s going "Saville Row" with a custom set of English walnut Grips..

Nothing too special with this one. Won it for being in the right place at the right time.
Thanks Guyon and Moose

A lot of great looking knives in this thread.
