How are the Mad Maxx's coming along?

I think the Cuda Maxx is sweet. But what I really want is the Micro Maxx in a production version.(Is that what the littlest Maxx is called?) For some reason that little one catches my eye. Will, I promise if you make the small one, I'll buy the big one and the small one. Pleeeeaaaaase.:D

Ey darrel,
I just got one of your ArcLites in a trade. I dont mean to hijack this thread, but I started it so all you can STFU :p
I was wondering what you can tell me about it. There is no steel mark on the knife,so that is my main question. And if the point is pointing towards my left arm, there is a large 'DDR-M',and the same on the reverse side, only smaller. Is this your normal mark?
Thanks,
mo

All the knives made in the millennium year had a DDR-M on them as the mark.
The steel is 420v.
Please enjoy.

Nice!

Pros: Light in the pocket, strong, love the D2 and Titanium, never thought my budget would allow me something like this! Pocket clip works nicely. I swear, I might even carry it every day! Cuts my hair nicely.

Previously tried a Cold Steel 5" Voyager, but too bulky, thick blade, hard to close.

Cons: A bit hard to open & close (my best here is the lowly Schrade Cliphanger CH7, butter), the frame lock...strong though. Finish could be more polished on blade.

marutkaus,
Glad to have you as a customer! The blade finish on the CUDA MAXX is a tumble polish, or think of it as a higher polished stonewash. D2 is notoriously difficult to get a fine finish on, and actually we are pleased with the level that we were able to achieve on the 'MAXX. On thing is for sure, the finish DOES help with corrosion resistance, and that is the MAIN reason the DDR and CAMILLUS agreed on this finish. I think you will appreciate it as time goes on!

Thanks again for being a customer!
