This is the wife.... I made the mistake like in 2010 of showing him a Game Warden.... He didn't know the Company.... since then... Its been I have to say . maybe 35- knives..... over the years.. Only ONE GOT away that I tried to buy... my Name is ROCKSBLADE on here ... I opened it years ago... oops got to go he's coming!

Ummm....yes....moving heaven and earth (literally : construction industry) to get TGULB $.

Then, a large chopper. I just missed an AFBM Infi down here ...$800 I didn't have :-( (that $800 just spent on motorcycle servicing ) ....

A TacSaw 7 black / tan would be brilliant when out in the fields walking our Rottweiler

I just discovered the FBS LE ! I'm Dying to snaffle one...DYING !! ( Even more than TGULB actually... Whoda thunk it??!!).

I've been collecting fighting knives for years with assistance from my edged tool collecting father. He's been gone for over ten years now, but the collecting bug remains and has expanded to include assorted swords and tomahawks.

I remember reading about the Battle Mistress and started to actively seek this mythical blade. When I checked the website in 2021 there was no BM, but they did have the TGULB. I've been severely INFIcted ever since.

I finally did acquire the AFBM and recently got accepted into the brotherhood of HOGs. My Busse adventure continues to this day. I've picked up a couple of very good Busse blades from a friend and great guy named David Brown, too.

Had never heard of them before joining BF, and then started seeing them around the forum. But at the time it seemed that any I liked were out of my budget. In 2022 I happened to reply to one of Jerry's posts looking for help setting up email on an old iPhone and he gave me a $100 shop credit. Got anxious and used it to buy a Bad Rattitude even though it didn't really appeal to me (have since sold it). Then took a chance on a grab bag, but while I loved the handle, didn't really care for the blade, so ended up selling that one too.

In 2024 I decided I wanted one representative Busse for my collection, and got in on the FBS. Thought that would be it until the Forefather was announced, and jumped on that (got a $50 credit in the naming contest). While waiting for that I ended up buying a TGULB, since I figured that was a pretty iconic model. Just received the Forefather today, and supposed to get the TGULB back tomorrow after I sent it back due to a finish issue (which may have been more of a misunderstanding on my part since I'm not that familiar with all things Busse, but Jerry said send it back or he'd drink himself to death lol).
