How did you pick/choose your user name..............

I'll play.

There are people at my job who work eight hour shifts, and those of us who work twelve hour shifts sometimes refer to them as "short-timers", because they leave before the real work is done.

I'm not a tall guy, so that's some of it.

There's also a philosophical component to it, in that the world is far too vast for any one person to experience, and when I measure what I have learned and experienced so far against what I have not, I begin to feel that my life, or any life, would never be long enough...

Short on time.

I'm a big Bob Marley fan and Natural Mystic is one of my favorite songs. I finally got the chance to visit his mausoleum in Jamaica in Feb.

My first name backward, followed by an abbreviation for my current profession.

Decades ago when I was in college, I had a radio show on the college station, KSPC. When I started, I would sometimes get tongue-tied saying my name. It doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. So I used my name backwards. I was easier to say.

BTW, the K in knarfeng is not silent.

Charlie Mike is the military phonetic for the letters C & M. It is also Army for Continue Mission. It's my motto in life.

I collect Louis L'Amour's books.

One of the characters is an Apache who is widely feared, even amongst his own, for his amazing ability to kill and his total lack of emotional involvement when doing so. The character's name is Tahts-a-dats-ago (Quick Killer) (According to L'Amour anyway).

I have a good deal of Scottish blood in me, most of it from the Clan Munro. I even went so far as to get married in a Munro kilt (and not just so I could carry the sgian dubh)!

Mine is from my favorite gun I own. A Kimber Tactical Pro II and its a 45 caliber.
Also its kinda funny now that I think about it but my avatar is of a completely different gun, my newest...go figure

I had pretty much guessed that but wondered about the spelling. Now I know. I had a set of drums in the basement, too, when I was a teenager. My parents pretty much hated it.

Mine is my initials DT followed by my late best buddy Tom the cat.

I was a Plane Captain for the F-14A Tomcat Fighter Aircraft when I was in the US Navy, plus I also like cats anyway.

uh... my dad used to call me Jim Bob when I was a little kid (well, he still does and I'm almost 30 :p) so jbob + some lucky digits :)

Yellow on the outside and white on the inside. Asians aren't exactly hairy. No shave November is quite humiliating for me...

I think I had needed a name for a game I was playing many, many years ago. Just something I came up with and ended up really liking it. Been using it online and in games ever since.

Sorry the Mods had to move this thread to CC where is belongs.

Nobody has posted on the thread since it was moved from General Disc. where it started...............

How did you pick Your user name??

I used to play NTN trivia at bars. There was a 6 letter limit to user names so I dropped the "a" from stealth.
