How did you pick/choose your user name..............

My last name is pronounced 'will see' and we always said like in 'will see you later' to help people say it right otherwise they say willis or wisely or whistleley or some such thing. Plus it is a friendly way to let them remember it instead of 'will see about that' which is not so friendly or open to another chance to visit.

Nobody has posted on the thread since it was moved from General Disc. where it started...............

Not true. My post was #45 and I posted when the thread was here in Community.

mine is basically a name I made up when I was on a lot of car forums (first forums I participated in) so it's TX for Texas, and my car was known as Project 180SX. It was a Nissan 240SX I was building to mimic the japanese model.

I joined the Navy in 1985; got out in 1989. I was the fourth or fifth biggest guy - 5'11", 250+ lbs. - on our workcenter crew of 25, and somewhere along the line I was christened with the callsign [nickname] "Orca". So, I decided on orca8589.

A lot of the older folks, around this neck of the woods refer to Whetstones simply as Whetrocks, so after several attempts to obtain usernames that were already taken, I just used this little bit of backwoods nomenclature as my username.

Told my wife I wanted one more sporty car before I died. I said I wanted something brutal. My user name reflects my choice of automotive weaponry.
