I EDC two knives, one one the belt and one clipped in my pocket. The Katz folder on the belt is used for working tasks. The Spyderco Police, or Military (as I rotate these) are used for personal grooming and food preparation.
Clip-less in my left front pocket. I'm right handed, but I have a bunch of keys in my right front pocket that could get between the handle slabs of my sebbie and dull the blade badly. I don't carry the sebbie for self defense purposes anyway, so it doesn't matter that I can't whip it out all that fast (I've got a flashlight with a crenelated bezel for that ).
Clipped to right pocket, around the neck. Clipped to underwear. In my pillow case. Or occasionaly in my boot. sometimes a belt sheath, I guess it varies..
Right front pocket = Emerson CQC-13 folder, pocket clip
Left front pocket = Spypderco Military, pocket clip
Right side rigger's belt = Fixed blade (PATAK), high ride kydex
Right side rigger's belt = Leatherman Charge in Leatherman belt pouch
Left side rigger's belt = BM's toolbits in pouch
Left side rigger's belt = SAK - Outrider in ACU belt pouch
Clipped to right front always---clipped to left front in addition sometimes--depends on how I feel----Leatherman---Buck 119---diabetic meds---flashlights and all my other junk in a backpack that goes everywhere with me.
Depends on what I'm wearing. In business clothes my EDC is clipped under the waistband to the left of the small of my back and in casual clothes its clipped on my left front pocket (I'm a lefty).
If I'm at work ( dress pants) - Kershaw Leek / Scallion or Mini Mojo clipped to the inside change pocket or carried in the pocket if no change pocket is available. Sometimes I carry a slipjoint in the pocket.
On weekends I carry a large slippy in the pocket or a large locking folder clipped to my right pocket.
I sometimes use a belt sheath. I like the idea of a folder in a belt sheath but I hate things attached to my belt, unless I'm hunting then I'm OK with it.
cold steel Recon 1. clipped on waistband, right hand side, front of pants. I find that my "festively plump" belly keeps it from sliding out, and I have never had it hook on anything this way (used to carry clipped to front or back pocket, but knife got hooked and dropped many times either front or back pocket).
