How do you carry your EDC?

1. jeans & casual wear
- Benchmade 520 on belt at 4 o'cloc
- Spyderco Pacific Salt clipped in right back pocket

2. suit
- Benchmade 710 clipped in front right pocket
- Benchmade 740 iwb at 4 o'clock

fixed blades inside the waistband, folders clipped in my pockets or on a chain under my shoulder.

I can carry every fixed blade up to a respectable length inside the waistband by tying a shoelace through the beltloop, and using the lace as the beltloop instead.

Right now, at work in the knifeshop, I carry:

A seki fixed blade inside the waistband, horizontally on my back for reversed grip quickdraw, a fox waved karambit in my left pants pocket, an emerson waved commander in my right pants pocket and a spyderco wegner on merc-like harness under my right shoulder.

I need some IWB tips can anyone provide any?

I have done a lot of IWB carrying, and through trial & error I found what works best for me. I find that for IWB a knife with handle 4-4.5" long is about right. Longer than that is a bit harder to make comfortable for me. I clip the knife to the waistband so that the clip is under my belt and the knife is inside the pants. Being left-handed I usually carry at about 8 o'clock, just behind the left hip. Recently I have experimented more with carry in the front at about 11 o'clock. At 11 o'clock especially I find it more comfortable to angle the knife rather than have it clipped straight up and down.

A thinner knife is definitely more comfortable too. Personal favorites for IWB are the Spyderco Delica 4, Salt I, Adventura.

I like IWB b/c it frees up pockets and keeps the knife very secure. It is also a very discreet way to carry. Sometimes I do find it gets a little uncomfortable though, depending on what I am doing that day.

I'm sure others have found different methods that work better for them. Are there any other tips?

Inside my coin pocket clipped. If I carry larger, usually in right too, inside clipped.

I may be off topic here but as I read this, many of you actually have to worry about others seeing your pocket knife? Dang. Thats a sad state of affairs. I grew up with a dad who taught his sons that a real man was always prepared. Have a few bucks in your pocket,a pocket knife, wallet, watch, pen and a hankerchief.I dont carry the latter but I have included a small flashlight into the mix. If I see a knife in a guys pocket/belt/IWB the only thing I think is, 'that guy grew up like I did'. Boy Scouts were right, Be Prepared. I have heard they changed that to "Be Politically Correct"

Be Prepared means for all things. No hanky means nothing to polish your eyeglasses, mop your sweaty brow, having to wipe your nose on your sleeve and without any way to let the cops know you're not the sniper.

Carrying a handkerchief at all times is a mother's good advice, every bit as valid as Dad's. ;)

On topic; Delica IWB slightly RR, SAK in RF pocket suspended by dummy cord, Leatherman Micra clipped to micro light in jeans watch pocket, Core (when at manual labor or expecting possibility) carried horizontally on belt RF.
