How do you carry your EDC?

This summer its a Victorinox compact carried on a lightweight lanyard under my shirt and a Victorinox Alox Lumberjack loose in my pants pocket (usually in the coin pocket).

If i'm wearing short pants the Lumberjack is sometimes attached to my belt via a lightweight lanyard.

Thats mostly because the lumberjack is a limited run SAK that is very thin and light so thin it feels like its not there. I don't want to loose it so its clipped via a short lanyard to my belt.

I also have a little Gerber Clutch on my keychain along with a peanut lighter and a small ferro rod. Oh yeah there are 2 or 3 keys on there too.lol!

If i'm hiking i sometimes simplify carrying only a Vic Huntsman.

Just curious, do you carry it in belt sheath, clipped to belt/pocket, or just in pocket?

I always used belt sheath, but that's because mine dosen't have a clip.

I have my EDC folder strong side clipped inside my waist band.

Every day:

Clipless large folder in right front pocket (Military, Griptilian or JYD2, usually the Spyderco)
Vic Classic on keychain, being replaced with a LM Micra whenever it comes in the mail.

Some days I carry these too:

SAK or traditional slipjoint in right back pocket with wallet (Vic Farmer or Buck Stockman).
Wharcom in change pocket.

Every now and then I'll switch up the pockets and carry the Military behind my wallet (JYD and Grip are too thick for this to be comfortable) and a slipjoint or SAK in the front.

I carry my 2.5" Gene Ingram wharncliff in a special pocket sheath that he made so it doesn't shift around in my pocket.

Casual: JYDII clipped to front right pocket or inside shoulder bag.
Business: Same knife in shoulder bag.

When I'm working,I usually have a bigger folder clipped inside my left front pocket.I also wear a nylon holster on my left side waistband that holds my cellphone,a Sheffield utility knife,a Case 63087 stockman and a mini maglight. If I'm going out whatever I am carrying is in my rear pocket, whichever side is more comfortable.

I almost always carry my EDC clipped to my pocket, unless I have my Bucks or my SAK which I carry in a belt sheath.

I usually carry a Spyderco clipped IWB, either left of center at about 11 o'clock or behind the hip at about 8 o'clock. If not IWB, I will clip it to left front pocket (left-handed).

I carry a SAK either loose in pocket or hanging from the Victorinox belt hanger into right front pocket.

Also a Victorinox Classic and Spyderco Ladybug 2 on keychain.

The above I carry every day, but I will also carry a small slipjoint or small locking folder loose in my left pocket occasionally.

I also have an ankle sheath that I use to carry a Spyderco Delica pretty frequently.

I am always looking for new or better ways to carry, and today I tried an experiment with duct tape. I made a pocket sheath/organizer that is basically a flat 4" x 5" sheet of duct tape with 2 pockets on it so that I can carry a SAK and Spyderco. The design allows you to carry the knives vertically, and has worked great so far today. So I will probably use this when I want to keep my EDCs totally inside the pocket.

Does anyone know of someone who makes pocket organizers that are designed for holding multiple knives/tools comfortably in a front pocket?

I like IWB carry a lot, but sometimes it gets uncomfortable. Any tips for this? I am curious what knives you guys carry this way and do you prefer to carry near the hip or in front?

Primary knife clipped to left front pocket, even though I'm right handed. Back up smaller knife in right pocket.

At work, my EDC knife resides in the bottom of a pocket. At home, it is clipped to my right front pocket.

I am curious how you go about using a clip to mount your EDC inside you waistband or would it just be a better idea to use a sheath or something like that?

I usually have a Swiss Army Knife or Sodbuster in the front left pocket. I'm right handed but my wallet and keys are in my right front pocket.

I put the clip over the belt, on the front of my waistband (but under the overlapping top belt) and the knife is actually inside the waistband of my jeans/shorts etc. If the knife has too tight a clip, I will clip it under the belt, only to the actual jeans waistband. It seems like my belly keeps it clipped in.

I have never had it fall out this way (unlike clipped in pockets, which has fallen out so many times). Also, I used to clip it inside the waistband on my back, but have had this method fall out quite a few times (kinda of embarrassing if any one is watching to have a rather large knife bounce off the ground).

I just don't like anything on my belt at all (ie belt pouch), unless I am out in the wilds, or shooting.

MT Ultratech right pocket clipped On The Job (Plainclothes or Uniform) and an Emerson or Spydie Wayne Goddard in Turnouts/Bunkered up. My SAR Tac Vest (London Bridge Tactical Flotation Vest) has a Busse Badger Attack attached. My Armored tac vest (PointBlank LAPD Model) has a CRKT M16 in one of the pockets but this vest is rarely used anymore cuz I just dont do much entry stuff these days...got other young guys for such fun. ;)

folder clipped to righ front pocket or left rear pocket and fixed on belt strong side.
