How do you carry your slipjoint?

I found an inexpensive solution to carry my new "Charlow". REI had a nylon sheath that can be carried vertically or horizontally on belt but also works well in my pocket. While I am a leather guy, this sheath was only $5 and it works perfectly.

I just carry whichever EDC (usually a Case Russlock, 65-69 Case Bareback Trapper, or my old 1940's +/- #28 Winterbottom Queen) in my right front pocket... anything else (keys, change, etc) goes in the left. I do like the idea of some of the pocket sheaths some of you have posted.

I carry mine in a little pocket sheath. Holds it in the pocket and I find they add a gentlemanly touch to the knife. I like keeping my knife carrying subtle and I find the sheath takes away any kind of threatening stance some people have with knives. Taking a little extra time is a fine thing as I carry a traditional because it helps me slow down in a world where slowing down can sometimes be difficult. My knives are always in the right front pocket along with a note book now and then. I will sometimes use a one hand folder as well

right front pocket with a handkerchief.. Keys and coins on the left front pocket, wallet on the back right. Don't have a cellphone as of now. Once I do again (if ever) it will probably spend most of its time in my car and if on me it will go on top of the hanky

Open between my teeth, as we prepare to repel boarders.

Or Right Front Pocket almost always.

No i didnt sew it..This is an old surveyors shirt, the whole back is a pocket also, for storing maps.Super heavy duty canvas material. FES

Case Medium or Large Stockman in right front pocket (nothing else) and my SAK Farmer in left front hanging on a TEC P7 suspension clip. I may carry change in that pocket but nothing else. Keys get clipped on the belt.

Depends on the weather and what I'm wearing. I like to carry in my watch pocket, usually carry a larger folder in a pocket sheath in the right front pocket. If I'm wearing a waistcoat or vest, I might have a folder in one of the pockets, the same in Winter, when I'm wearing a coat. If I don't have a watch pocket, I'll usually carry in a small belt pouch. A few larger folders, such as my clasp knives and large lock knives, I carry that way anyway. Fixed blades, go on my belt, right-hand side, either slightly to the rear, or slightly to the front with the sheath tucked into my jeans.

In the right front pocket, banging against keys, coins, and everything else! It adds character

Same here, except mine rides in my left front pocket with keys, SAK, mini Sharpie and coins. Right front pocket is reserved for a pistol, so nothing else goes in there. I've never adapted to the idea of carrying a knife in a back pocket. I also carry a Streamlight ProTac 2xAAA flashlight and gigantic Samsung S2 Skyrocket phone. Pants like the 5.11 Tac Light Pros, with their multitude of pockets, are good for stuff like this.

Sometimes I will carry a less expensive knife in one of my front pockets (without anything else being in my carry pocket), but if the knife is an expensive custom like my Bose, it goes in a nice belt sheath that has a snap close on it. BTW, I do use the Bose daily for anything that I might need a knife for, so it is not just eye candy.

Daily EDC (work or play) traditional slip-joint in the LFP (sized 3" up to 3-7/8") with my cellphone riding on top of the knife, my change & keys go in the RFP. When hunting I carry a larger EDC, usually a Buck 307 - I carry it in the LFP by itself; additionally I carry a sheathed fixed blade for skinning (also a traditional design) in my pack. OH

Always in my right front pocket of my jeans or uniform trousers, along with whatever else goes in there. I'm not fussy about keeping them pristine, I use em all.

I keep my sub 4" knives in my left front pocket or when Peanut sized in the watch pocket of the jeans.

When it get bigger, I carry them in my left backpocket.

Slipjoint don´t get carried in a belt sheath and not in the jacket or wherever.

I usually carry a large super cool tactical folding machete or the like in my front right pocket. And put the pouch below full of all my junk in my left with a slippie. If I carry any others the back pockets get used. I find the pouch is easy and keeps my nonsense organized rather well. It's also quick to grab and go.
