How Do You Carry Your Traditional?

Carry a 4 1/2 inch queen mountain man in my back pocket between my wallet and the edge of the pocket. Barely notice that it's there. Easy to get to also since it stays upright in the same position.

Its one I made myself , I got sick of not being able to find sheaths that correctly fitted my knives , so decided recently to make my own . its a great hobby and not difficult or expensive to get into . I don't actually have that knife and sheath anymore , I gifted it to my neighbour at Christmas .
I'll put up another couple of pics of it plus a couple of Le Thier sheaths I made .

Thanks for sharing. Your work is outstanding.

I normally wear cargo pants, mostly Tru-Spec 24/7. I just carry my knife in one of the pockets or 2-3 of my knives in several of the pockets.

Most of my khaki's have an 'inner-pocket' sewn into the front right pocket that keep my knives vertical and securely in place. If I'm wearing jeans, most of my knives will ride in the watch pocket.

Very cool Ken !! but that's not a sheath man, that's a Vault ;) quite the rugged bit of kit there!!

As you have probably already guessed Gary this was actually just a fun exercise and a way to experiment with the crazy ideas that float around in my brain .
This sheath has already inspired some new crazy ideas :) and I have discovered a couple of things that I'll definitely be using in future sheaths .
I know you have made more than a few sheaths for traditionals , so come on , get on with it and show us some ?:)

Ya twisted my arm ya did, here's one I made for myself a while ago, like a knuckle head, sold the both, miss that folder quite a lot too, a Bose/Case Yukon, quite the folder she is too !!!

Notice on the sheath, I had to work the spine area of the leather to conform to the knife's shape, making a snug fitup and a pleasing overall view of the lines of the knife while closed.

And keep on thinking outside the box there Ken, good stuff comes from that, like my Einstein saying "Imagination is more important than knowledge"

Gary

That takes some beating .
The skeletal bones of the knife allow the leather to clothe it perfectly .

I know you have more :) so dig around in your bag of tricks and show us another beauty .

I use pocket sheath from time to time, I like to make them myself, no tools just the very basics, please forgive the bad photo
