I'm not that big into displaying my knives. I just wanted a way to keep them safe and prevent damage, and also be easier to swap my daily carry, rather than rifling through a pile of boxes. My solution was a Pelican 1600 that I got a few weeks ago. This is how I've set it up (I started plucking before I decided to store my CRK One Piece, so I didn't have room for the Junglas. I'm fine with that being stored separately).
I have my CRK's and Emersons on the left of my Shadow 1, and everything else on the right side. On the bottom right are all my SAKs as well as a Gerber keychain multitool. Then above that I have my Damascus Skyline and my Mini Tuff Lite. Above that are my SRM/Elan knvies followed by a couple of Opinels. Then my remaining Spydercos. Two Dragonfly 2's, an original Micarta Jester, a Ladybug3 and a Byrd something or other (same size as Ladybug).
Then come my sentimental knives. A Sabre Barlow that was my dad's first knife when he was a kid. Some sort of plastic/rubber handled Buck 450U that was my first real knife. An old SAK-like knife (Colonial Mountain Guide) that my dad used for years backpacking, a small Gerber one-side framelock that I used in college. Then a cheap balisong and switchblade that my dad gave me, followed by a switchblade that my dad has had for years. When he saw my new storage case, he got excited and decided that I should store all of his knives that have been sitting in the top drawer of his dresser for the last few decades.
I love the case, it's well made, sturdy, attractive (in a way), and has plenty of room for expanding my collection.
