It's my anniversary. I bought my first, a Police Model, in October 1988. Carried it in school too.

Maybe 10 months? Some have come and gone. PM2 and PK are with a friend. Couple of new ones on the way. Have had maybe ~20 in total.

90% of these get carried regularly. I probably reach for the Sage 1 more than anything else. Not what I expected to end up favoring.

Since 1998. A Delica in ATS55. Bought from a gun shop after seeing my friends serrated Endura. Still have it plus 3 other Delicas, a Native 3 and a Spyderco Pride.

Been carrying my brown Delica 4 solidly for the past four years.
 
Since about '87 or '88 for me. Yep, 30 - 31 years!!! :eek: :cool: I wrote a story about it here some years back.
 
I bought a all stainless Delica about 8 years ago, it really opened my eyes to how well designed and built Spyderco knives are. Prior to that i had pretty much been a traditional knives only guy. Really glad I got over that. Lol
I still really like traditional pocket knives and have more of them than anything else but I carry one of my 7 Spydercos just about every day.
 
1981. it was at the N.Y. international knife show in manhattan. I got a chance to meet Sal and his wife. I believe it was a serrated mariner, but it could have been the worker.I also picked up the sharpmaker which came with a leather roll up to store it in. I have owned many knives from many companies but spyderco will always have a special place in my heart.
