I voted 21-30, but honestly, I have no idea how many. I do know I have too many and it would be a daunting task to move them along. The past two years most of the ones I have picked up were for my wife's collection LOL. I was lucky to jump on the bandwagon in the earlier years when there were choices sitting on dealers' shelves and numerous listings in the classies for at or below MSRP.

I have two. An American jack from a GAW by waverave waverave through 5K Qs 5K Qs , and the BF2020. I gave away my Churchill yellow rose and a big stockpun in box o' knives 45. I never liked the Churchill, and the stockpun was from a GAW by jstrange jstrange , who hoped it would go to somebody who would use it more than he had. I turned out to not be that guy.

I think at one time or another, I have owned every pattern except the 28 French Kate. Below is the closest I came to having them all at the same time (in 2018). I wish I had continued that collection. I seem to have just as many knives today, just not the cool display…

Ok. I’ve always wanted to do this, and I think this is as close as I am going to get, as I’ve mostly lost the desire to track down what is missing (21, 28, 42, 45, 61, 63, 64, 65 - have a 65 but it missed the photo op; had a 61 but it’s gone).

Off top of my head and aided by my phone:
15 - lost count but here is pic of 34 which I think is most:

23 - two;
48 - one;
73 - one;
77 - one; and
86 - four.

I think that’s it, so six patterns in roughly 43 knives and all in bone save my 23 Beavertail which is my BBQ knife:

:oops: For real? 53 knives of the same pattern? :oops:
Yes, John, my sickness culminated in acquiring one of every #53 Cuban Stockman ever released. I completed the collection a few months ago.

Will, good question on the carry numbers. I have given more than just occasional carry to nos. 35, 53, 54, 66, 73, 82, 85, 86, and 92. So only about 20% of all the GECs I've owned.

14,15,18,19,21,25,26,29,33,35,36,38,42,43,45,46,47,48,49,53,56,57,62,74,66,68,71,72,73,74,77,78,79,83,85,86,89,92,93,94,98,99 = 42 patterns. Oh, now I’m seeing the sickness come to light 😬 might be time for some professional therapy/counseling

I'm not a true collector so at a quick count in my head I've OWNED 12 or so different models, but currently I believe I'm down to 6, if something doesn't immediately appeal to me when I get it I usually leave it in the box for a month or two revisit it and if I still don't bond with it, then just sell it so someone else can enjoy it. Which I'll be honest there are a few I regret 😂
