I have the forum knife and one other. I refuse to go down the GEC Rabbit Hole. Too much hype for not enough knife. Just MHO.

I have two 06 that I got in a 2 for 5 (non-GEC) trade with a BF member. With my digital speed skills, I doubt I will ever get in on a drop. Lol

I’ve been fortunate enough to collect 18 different patterns. Many of them were the patterns that were on shelves when I became interested in GEC back in 2019 and others I paid way too much for on the bay, but the ones that mean the most to me are the ones that members around here have helped me get this past year. 😉👍

I have 3 patterns. 15, 66 and 68. A few are duplicates.

Oops, I missed the poll…

I have 30 different patterns now, have had another 12(?) patterns in the past and there are about 3 patterns I’m still interested in trying. There are at least 13 patterns that don’t interest me enough to go after. Let’s hope they have some more PPP’s coming in the future.

It looks like about half the responders have more than a dozen patterns, and half own less than a dozen. Does that surprise anyone? I thought the median would be more like 6-10 patterns, but it's possible that many who would have voted for 0-2 or 3-5 didn't bother to vote at all, skewing the results. Please share your thoughts!

I have 8 different patterns. 14, 15, 25, 35, 47, 71, 86, and 92. Of those, I have multiple 15s and 2 86s, the rest just a single example. I carry and use them all, some more than others.

I have 3 GEC patterns, all generous gifts from BF members: 72, 77, 85. Sort of regret not buying a GEC canoe with the same birthday as me when they were sitting on dealer shelves.
I also won a 77 Northfield Barlow in a GAW, but sold it (with approval of the GAW "host") in a fund-raising "benefit" for the grandson of a BF member who died far too soon.

Jeff black mamba black mamba , your 53 #53s is very cool (and kinda crazy 🤓) !:cool::thumbsup:

Sold out at the tail end of winter 2019. Needed a new furnace (oil) and paid for it in full with some left over.
No reserve penny auctions ending on Sunday nights. Let the collectors decide what they were worth. Got rid of some nice ones but it was worth it, and a bit fun.
Picked up some 60s/70s era knives since then. A lot out there to hold a person’s interest, GEC or not

I guess I missed the poll, but, I am firmly in the 11-20 and I may just get into the 21-30. Love me some GEC knives!!
