How many knives are you carrying today?

Usually 2. One is always a traditional, mostly trapper style and the other is more modern with pocket clip but even that gets ousted for a traditional lock back.
 
I haven't left the house, except to shovel this morning; so two folders...but I've got things that need doing later, which means I'll be strapping in a fixed blade. Like jfk1110 jfk1110 , I carry two folders (1 modern, 1 traditional) and a fixed blade. If I wasn't changing my clothes before I leave, I'd likely already have the fixed blade
 
Almost always at least 2 (the case as I sit at my desk right now), but usually 3-4. The two are typically a modern folder and an SAK. More often than not I'll add a traditional, which serves the sole purpose of being for my pure enjoyment. Then, when I'm out and about, I usually carry a fully serrated Dragonfly just for use on the occasions that serrations come in handy. That one rides so unobtrusively in the back pocket that I usually don't think about it until needed and often forget to even take it out for EDC pics.

There are some variations depending on activity. For instance the traditional gets replaced with a fixed blade for hiking and outdoor activities (or sometimes just because), the SAK gets replaced with the Swisstool when I'm working on a project or fixing something that day, and if the SAK doesn't have a file it sometimes gets accompanied by an ALOX classic.
 
I normally have two on my person.. my primary carry (rotated frequently, today the ZT 0609) clipped right-front-pocket and a Spyderco Jester (my true "edc") loose in my left-front-pocket. Between my pack, office, vehicle, etc. I'm never far away from others should I need them..
 
Whichever (nice one) I pick for my rotation and always a Gerber EAB for either handing to someone or for cutting stupid stuff..
 
Usually 4. 1 clipped to my right front pocket, an SAK Classic on my key ring, a slip joint in my right front pocket, an auto in my left front pocket, and a multi tool if I'm working. That's 5 for today.
