How many knives do you carry at a time?

I'm curious to know how many pocket knives you guys are carrying everyday?

If you rotate knives for everyday use, how do you decide? Which knives do you use as backup and which as primary pocket knives?

If you have a favorite pocket knife, would you ever not carry it if you had other pocket knives that hadn't seen as much use?

Just one small sebenza.

On my hikes I bring 4.

I only bring sebenza because it's a gentlemans knife, doesn't scare anyone and is perfect for everyday tasks.

I have other folders but most are bulky and people give you looks.

Pretty much every day, with very few exceptions, I carry a left and right handed Spyderco Military clipped to my two front pockets. And a Leatherman Charge clipped to my left rear pocket under my belt carried stupid phone.

Once in awhile I'll switch out for a day or two, if I've been talking with other knife nuts and they want to see a particular blade I own. But the left handed Military is an EDC every day. I just swap out right handers on special occasions.

I have two Leatherman Charge's. One natural titanium, the other all black titanium. I switch them out depending on the color pants I am wearing. Blue jeans = natural. Black jeans = all black.

Occasionally I'll throw a real beater knife in my right rear pocket if I am expecting some real dirty work. My usual beater is an old Military bought back in 96 when the model was first introduced.

Normally I'll carry one defensive knife, one mid size edc, sometimes a small edc, and a multitool. So 3 or 4.

Usually just one...I do always have a Spyderco bug on my keys though :) on occasion I'll have a SAK as well.

EDC in my back left pocket is an alox SAK pioneer harvester.
The front right pocket varies. Lately it's been a spyderco southard, but a forum member was kind enough to lend me a Strider SnG which arrived today, so that will be my main folder for the next week or so. :-)
If I'm doing heavy yard work or a long hike I'll add a bark river Canadian special to my belt.
So 2-3 depending on the day.

Well, I Usually carry a smaller EDC SAK like my Victorinox Cadet(I will always have this on me) and Then sometimes a bigger EDC knife such as my small sebenza 21...depending where I am going or what I am doing...

I work in an office. I carry a Leatherman Micra in my front pocket and a folder in the coin compartment of my wallet. That officially counts as two knives even though I never use the blade in my Micra. I decide on which folder to carry based on whatever happens to float my boat that day. Variety is the spice of life, so I've got plenty of lightweight folders to keep me interested including a Damascus Leek, a CRKT Eros, a couple of Small Sebenzas, a Rod Olson Flipper, a Laconico Slim EDC, et. al. Of all of them, the Laconico Slim EDC is my favorite.

Usually at least two. its generally a folder of some sort in the right pocket and a sak or leatherman either on the belt or in the left. Ill also somtimes carry a waved delica in the front of my left pocket for a reverse grip draw. When i carry a fixed blade, its either at an angle behind my right hip or directly above the delica.

2.
Leatherman Wave always on the belt, Buck 303 (Camillus version) in the pocket, today.
Buck 503, Schrade 50T Green, Kershaw Ken Onion Chive all get out from time to time.
When hunting, this goes up to 3, with a either a fixed blade, or a Buck 110 folder on the belt.

At work, either a SnG CC, or Large CRK micarta 21. Around the house doing yardwork an SnG Lego z-wear. Never more than one at a time, unless I'm going out in the woods. Then I usually bring a Case Gunstock also.

I've always got two. My back-up and loner knife is always on me and that's my Kershaw Chill. It's cheap to replace if whomever I'm letting use it wrecks it. That's usually clipped to a cargo pants/shorts pocket. If It's not there, It's in my front left pocket. My main carry knife usually varies every 2-3 days, but lately, It's been my Kershaw Cryo with a carbon fiber scale. The scale cuts about an ounce off the knife and makes it feel a lot better IMO.

I am an engineer in an office/production facility. Leatherman for my job. Folder for my lunch.

Depends. I always have a Leatherman Wingman/Sidekick in my rear left pocket and a Vic Classic on my keychain. When at work I have a small and a large folder on me. Sometimes I have a small fixed blade, but I always have the other two with me in case I have to take it off. When I'm at school I either have a medium sized folder or the small/large combo. Don't wanna get in trouble using a super large blade. When I'm around town I just carry whatever

Recently I bought a Victorinox Rally that I'm really liking. I carry that on my keychain and then depending on where I'm going most days I'll just carry a small traditional like a GEC #85 or Queen mini trapper along with a modern folder with a 3-3.5" blade. Traditionals do most of the cutting, but I like having a one handed opener as well for larger tasks.

Well... roundabout three knives everyday

- Vic Classic on keychain
- LM Multitool or a bigger an SAK in the Maxpedition Jumbo
- classic slipjoint in the jeanspocket

More I just use outdoors like fixed blades etc
