How many knives do you carry at a time?

Close friends and fam have told me for years that they thought I was crazy for carrying at least 2 on me lol - ALAS, I'm not alone! ;)

Lately I go with my sng, a traditional, and my sak fieldmaster in my pack/ bag (if I carry one). 9 times out of 10, I use the traditional (usually a gec trapper or jack).

I guess technically two. I always have my ZT 0350 on me, and an Ontario RAT-1 in my work bag.

Work days, going to town, I have:
- 1 fixed on my right hip - rotates between Kabar 1232 (mon/wed) or 1233 (tues/thur) or a Western L48B or F48B (fri)
- 1 small 1" folder on my key-ring
- 1 Buck 464 left front
- 1 Buck 462 right front

Farm Work Days/Saturdays - depends on whats happening. If I'm working on:
- equipment - 2 fixeds -L/R Hip (2 kabar shorties) plus the Bucks
- fences - 1 machete - back sheath, 1 Mk2 & 1 shorty L/R hips, 2 bucks in pockets, 1 357 mag loaded with shot shells in the small of my back left hand holster right hand draw (for rattlers and copperheads)
- around the yard or in the barns - 1 shorty, 2 bucks, 1 357 mag loaded with shot shells in the small of my back left hand holster right hand draw

Sundays/weddings/funerals - the 2 bucks and my "Sunday go-to-meeting" 1920s West-Cut K2 fixed blade. There's just something cool about a 90 y.o. blade.:D

Usually 4 in my edc.
main edc, manix 2 lightweight as of late
victorinox compact
gerber dime (or ps4 squirt)
Blue SAK classic on my ford keys
and sometimes ill have one of my Gerber E.A.B's as a box cutter/money clip

Right now I'm rocking the ZT 0350 and the titanium Spyderco Sage 2 for everyday stuff... Oh and a Cold Steel Micro Recon on my key ring.

The funny part is I actually wanna carry more... But I think what I have right now is plenty

Three, I carry 3 each and every day. I carry a slipjoint of some variety in my left front pocket and it usually goes unchanged for long periods of time. Currently it is a Hammer Brand (Chinese) 4-bladed canoe. I also carry a Victorinox SAK, a wooden scaled Deluxe Tinker, in my Pacsafe fanny pack. Finally, I carry a larger "tactical style" folder clipped in my right front pocket that can change as often as the weather, or stay for as long as a season! My current carry is my all black BM275 Adamas.

For EDC I have a small SAK on the keyring, usually a Classic, and one knife in my front right pocket.

Today:
Leatherman Style on the keyring
Peanut - RFP
Dragonfly2 - RFP Clipped

Usually 1-3, depends on what i'm doing / where I am.

Honeybee on keyring, rough rider traditional in pocket(2 blades), two modern folders(usually a ZT and a spyderco)clipped to LFP and RFP. Yup, I'm crazy. :D

At least 2 a tac folder, AK-47 full size, and my Skeletool, sometimes also my mini AK-47, depending on where I'm going and if it's night time or daytime. The Skeletool and mini are my utility knives or the mini is my backup knife.

One for edc, a fixed and a folder for any sort of outdoor adventure. Rotation goes between PM 2 all black on weekends and off days, Endura 4 for work days when I feel like spyder steel, and a Rat 1 when I feel like...well...the knife is going to be abused. I take a minimalist approach to edc.

Depends on how you define "carry" and what you consider a knife. My straight answer is 2. I keep a small Boker KeyCom clipped to my right pocket with a small Fenix flashlight hanging from it. In my back pocket next to my wallet is usually a Case slipjoint of some kind, typically a Medium Stockman or Small Texas Jack.

I also keep a small Leatherman Squirt P4 in my left pocket. It has a blade but I rarely use it. So if you count that, then 3.

I take a small travel bag with me to work every day. In that bag I leave a Case Slimline Trapper which I use for apple slicing (I tend to take an apple or two with me every day for snacks). I also have a small first aid kit that I keep in an Altoids tin. I leave a SAK Classic SD in the kit for the scissors, tweezers, etc.

So if you count those, I'm up to 5. I've also got a LM Juice in my laptop bag. I need it for the bigger pliers and the better set of screwdrivers. It also happens to have a knife blade, which I rarely use. So that's 6 bladed implements that I have with me. I'd carry the multitools even if they didn't have knife blades.

So really the only 'extra' knife I carry is the Case in the back pocket. But I use that one often enough to where it doesn't feel unnecessary, though I'm sure I could make do with the other blades that I have. I just like having it along.

hey folks
I normaly wear 2: a wenger alox 21 witz my keys (always the same...) and second one in my dailybag: vic camper costume or spartan costum, laguiole, opinel nr.8 (all knives are no problem to use, even as teacher...)
all other just come with me on occasions... no daybag: spyderco manix 2 black, mcusta ebony, lm charger al; forest: fällkniven s1

and I think it's the mood choosing everday ;-)

Two. One is always a Becker, either my BK11 or 14, and the other is either the other Becker or my Griptilian.

Usually at least 2. One little classic or minichamp SAK and a larger EDC. If I have my carry bag with me then it'll have my larger SAK and another folder (usually my Kershaw PE Nerve).

Four to six? Depends what I expect to be doing. Never more than thirteen, though. Yeah, that's the limit, thirteen...
