How many knives do you own?

Collecting knives is hard to bring up in dating. I just know when I say I collect knives they are going to picture the knives from "Cutlery Corner" on cable. That and I'm some sort of ax murderer.

When a date asks about my hobbies, I just say "Well, I have several... I raise bees, garden, dabble in my shop working with wood, leather and metal. I am also an amateur historian of metallurgical techniques and products of the 1830s through the present." If they get interested, they'll ask questions and go from there.
