I have several of my own blades in my kitchen and my hunting knife is also of my own manufacture. There si no better way IMO to learn the pros and cons of one of your blades than to use the heck out of it!
My EDC is a Benchmade, though, as I haven't tried a folder yet. When I do, it'll get carried too!
