  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How many of you do not carry a knife every single day?

Unless barred by law I always carry at least two. These aren't tactical monsters, just my Adventurer SAK with 3.25" locking blade and an M4 Seber keychain multitool. Other knives are optional, but these are my right and left hands respectively.

--well actually I will carry these even when barred by law if I figure that I can get away with it.

I always carry a knife to work with me, as I very often need one. There are some days that I will definitly need it, and some days I know I probably won't, but enough random stuff comes up that I know it's best to have one just in case.

When I am off from work, I will sometimes not take a knife with me when I go to the store, or to the bank. I know I won't need one, so if I am not in the mood I won't bring one.

Then again... I do have a cheap SAK wannabe on my keychain. I use it mostly for the clippers and file, but it does have a knife on it. So I guess I never really leave the house without a knife. The few times I have gone somewhere without a (nother) knife on me, and then found I did need a knife, this keychain SAK is what I had to use.

I just started getting into knives and only have fixed blades, so I don't carry them anywhere outside except to for the great outdoors. Once I get a folder, it'll be with me everywhere.

I started carrying knives about 35 years ago and the only time there isnt one in my pocket is if it is prohibited by law or if I don't happen to have a pocket:p . I have even returned home when I discovered that I didn't have one with me. I seldom have two, but when I do it is always a fixed blade. Steven

One in my pocket everyday for 40 years. If I'm in the woods then there is a fixed blade on my belt too. Talk about hooked!

I carry carry a knife every day. Most days it's a Benchmade Mini-Griptilian. Some days I carry two knives.

If I enter some place where I know they don't allow knives......I still carry it just unclipped. Someone will thank me one day when they need one in an emergency and I have it.

I carry 2. I used to carry three. I have one in my right, front pocket. And I also have a holster made in my wallet. That wallet was sold recently, but I have another made for a tiny titanium frame-lock. I will show some pics when it arrives in a few weeks. I used to carry a small knife with my keys, but I replaced it with a Fenix L1P with strike bezel. I also have Ti-Bot that may rotate with my Fenix.

EDC. except at home cos I'm usually in my skivvies or shorts only and the blades are within 10 feet. I have been known to forget once in awhile but I've also been known to take the bus home again to get my knife if I have forgotten.

I may not have one on my person all the time, but I always have knives (multiple) available, wherever I am. My employer even replaces knives damaged or broken in the scope of employment ..... needless to say, I've got a great job :)

I have a Leatherman Micra on my Keychain and a Kabar trapper in my back pocket everyday. I work in an office.

I don't go out without one...... or two........ or three.......hardly ever four though, although once in a while, maybe four.........I can think of once having five: even I was amazed! A Leek clipped RF, a Queen City canoe at the bottom of RF, my good old leatherman in its RR pouch, one of those key tools that opens into a knife that has flown on several planes with me on my keychain snapped on my belt mid-right, and I guess just so I didn't list to port, a big stag scagel single blade repro LF. No wonder my feet are flat!:D

If I have to go to court I won't wear a knife. This is usually about 5-10 times a year.

 5-10 times per year!? I hope you are a professional witness and not the defendant. :p

I cant carry a knife ALL the time (when i'm at school) but as soon as i get home i put my 4" fixed blade on my belt and it dosn't leave till its time to go back to school.

I am with knife since age 12, every day, every place except where prohibited and unless rigorously enforced, even there I carry discretely. I literally can't remember any 24 hour period of my life being knifeless.

ummm let's see... my Ka-Bar Dozier spearpoint folder, check, my Leatherman PST, check, and my Opinell #7, check. yup i carry a few. and if i am out in the field or on the trail, well a couple more fixed blades never hurt...

I normally carry a folder or small fixed blade in my pocket, unfortunately I live in Australia so even the most innocent looking knife is illegal to carry.
