I carry at least a couple of knives all the time. The only places where I don't have a knife on me are airports and concerts or clubs where they might search you. Although lately I've found my Vic Alox Cadet II and a wood handled Wenger don't seem to draw any attention, even when found. I've been able to carry into some "knife free" areas.

WEll, there are a few ways to go into knive free areas with knives.

I've carried a pocket knife knife daily for 50 years. Although my current employer ( a European owned company) does not allow pocket knifes, I carry one anyway.

My current EDC is the SAK Money Clip which is adequate for most of my at work cutting chores. The non-tool using primates I work with think that it is cute.

On weekends I carry a Benchmade 705.

I even have a dedicated bathrobe knife, a Kershaw Heat (assisted opening).
