How many own an Opinel?

I just ordered a No.8 Garden knife! Can't wait! Too bad I couldn't get it in Carbon Steel though (it's INOX).

Oh, I like stainless steel too, I just prefer carbon steel for the ease of sharpening.

I have a couple. Once I got some soda inside one and it was a booger to get open again. I learned the tapping them open method and will use that in the future. These and Moras I'm always wishing I had more of. Great little slicers.

I have a #7 Carbon. I ablsolutely love it.

The only thing that bothers me, is the emblem on mine. It looks like two fingers being pulled out of rusty sherriff's badge quickly.

Or is it just me?

I have a dozen of 'em. There's a set of ten and a garden knife in the accumulation, and a midsize that I keep in my portfolio bag.

I could use another, that large model from the YouTube video. :)

You mean the #13?

I have a dozen or so Opinels, from a #6 to that #13, mostly carbon steel and mostly 25+ years old.

I don't know Moose. It does look pretty peculiar.

I've had 3, all of which were the no. 8 model. Two were given as gifts to relatives and I still keep this one around:

There is one in my emergency box in the garage, don't think I've ever actually used it (the knife or the box).
