how many people carry 2+ knives for EDC?

I almost always carry two. One modern + 1 Sak or Smaller traditional. I use the modern when there is something larger and/or tuff to cut. the Sak/Traditional is usually for light duty and to use when I am in a situation when I do not want to alarm those around me. Nobody seems to bat an eys at a Sak Cadet but, I have sot some strange looks when pulling out a Spyderco Milli :D

Usually a SAK + something else every day and sometimes a lockblade/MT thrown in depending on the circumstances.

Typically carry two knives plus a leatherman supertool (2 blades). I something like the Spyderco Military but hardly ever use it. My daily user, beater is a Boker Subcom Titanium. The smaller knives doesn't scare people when I open boxes or bags. It also keeps the primary blade nice and sharp, just in case.

Today I am packing light: a Case Backpocket, a Spyderco Delica in ZDP, a Benchmade MPR, a Schrade NKCA trapper, a Buck Vantage and a Spyderco Elmax Mule on my belt. That is how many knives I usually have but somedays I add a Case peanut as well.

I typically carry 1 modern and 1 traditional. The modern is only used if I'm in an appropriate setting.

For the last few months I've been carrying an Emerson CQC-7 variant and rotate through my lineup of larger Emerson folders as my standard EDC.

I carry this combo to work, switching the rebar for a sak on off days. The modern folder can vary, but I'd say 70% of the time it's the sebenza.

Always have a folder and a multitool. Currently switching it up and using a fixed edc and multitool.

Yes, because I can. you never know if one day you might need both knives. Chances are one in a million you'll ever be in that situation, but it's that one time I'm trying to prepare for.

I carry any combo of the following but its always 1 main blade and 1 backup blade

Main Blade
-Strider SNG
-CRK Seb 25
-ZT 0566
-Benchmade Ritter Grip

Back up Blade
-Victorinox Cadet
-Kershaw Leek
-Kershaw Scallion

What just two knives?!?

I use to carry an SAK (Super Tinker or Climber) in my vest for work. A Spyderco Dragonfly sits in that vest, as well. A Vic Atlas or any multitool is in my daypack and a traditional slipjoint in my pocket.

I carry 3 blades every day:

Leatherman Micra
CRKT Large Eros in the coin compartment of my wallet.
Whichever EDC I feel like carrying in my LFP. Today it's my Laconico Slim EDC.

How do you like the dogtag? Been thinking about a black one but not sure if it could replace my Super Blue ManBug.

I love it, even with the oddball coloring. It disappears in my coin pocket. Useful for opening boxes and letters when I don't want to get tape gunk on my regular knife.

Not counting my Leatherman I have a Rat 2, SAK Explorer and some type of traditional that I'm modifying for whittling.
I certainly don't need all of them but I like all of them.

1. Clean knife with 3.5" blade, mostly to cut food at lunch and an apple during a break. Usually Cly3.5 or Spyderco Persian.
2. A knife to cut anything, which is not necessary clean.
3. Jester on the key chain, sometimes it is handy

Always. A larger modern folder on the right, a traditional or Alox SAK on the left. I also have a multitool in my bag if I end up needing it.

I always carry a SAK and a flipper of some type every day. I have done it so long it almost feels strange if I don't have at least two knives on me at all times.

I carry a a large 5-7" knife on my right hip (currently Ka-Bar USMC) and either my Leatherman Wave or my custom Buck 501 in a belt sheath on my left. The 501 is probably my most used knife as I'm constantly opening up boxes and pallets at work. It has the wood inlays replaced with jade inlays which looks really cool but it's far less forgiving when dropped on hard floors. I also almost always wear either my jean vest or jean jacket which both have CRKT Minimalist Bowie's sewn in to the inside. The jacket knives almost never see use unless I leave the house in my sweats and don't have my belt knives. I also just started carrying a CCC Balisong trainer clipped in my pocket to keep me busy all day. Would carry a real bali but I'm in CA unfortunately. :/
