how many people carry 2+ knives for EDC?

Ok... I've got the sickness, and I know it. :) I habituality carry 4, when I feel like it 5 or 6. Sure, I don't need to use that many, but it's fun :D

I have an Alox Bantam in my wallet, a plastic Bantam in my pocket, and (increasingly rarely...) a Persistence in my pocket. The second Bantam gets the most use by far. I'm considering changing the Alox Bantam for a Nite Ize Doohickey as I rarely use it and even more rarely use the blade on it.

I have been lurking for a few years. this is my first post. I have a spyderco bug on my key chain. and a ZT 0560 in my pocket. I was a knifemaker for 40yrs so every once in a while I also have one of my fixed blades on my belt. :-)

I carry a manbug tied to a titanium 1peice multitool in my pocket and a 3" folder of my choosing. Sometimes another smaller folder as well.

I have since i started carrying nicer knives. Which i started carrying. Nicer kershaws and benchmades around 2002.

I think i started when i bought my first kershaw boa. My work was electrical/finish carpentry residential mainly.
I didnt want to wear out my new boa within a year so i carried a second knife. Which was a buck.... plastic something lockback. I bought a case of them, and handed out 6 or so to friends to use. I still have the boa and 2 bucks out of roughly 20. Both of the bucks have broken tips. Which was better than some of the others. Which broke in about everyway.
I especially like this version buck cause it had the Dewalt tool logo on the blade.

Over the years i have increased the quality of my backup/second knife to benchmades and chris reeves.
I got tired of cutting myself because i used a cheap knife broke so i had to up the quality.

Now I always carry a sebenza 21 along with a benchmade 761 or carbon fiber sebenza 25 as a back up.
And sometimes with a sog assisted multi tool. Which i love and wouldnt mind having one for each car.

I have four or more items that have a cutting edge that I carry on a daily basis; why? Because I can. :)

Lately I've been carrying 2, usually my spyderco tusk and I rotate out usually one of my benchmades (940-1,530,581,915,810,275) or my waved endura. On days where I want more then it's usually my tusk, 530, and another benchmade.

I got 4... if you count credit card knives.

Where do you live? / How many people do you plan on killing?

I live in a good place that is full of bad people.

I could just never carry two folders that large. I have a cold steel spartan and when I carry it I feel like my pocket has just become a sheath for it haha. Although holding two would make me feel like some sort of badass videogame villain.

I'm just compensating for small "parts" :(

Always 3....a 3-4" folder (small sebenza as of late), and a smaller fixed/Alox Vic combo in a pocket sheath.

I mix it up more lately than I used to but always more than 1 knife is on my person as of the last 6 months or so. I'll throw some pictures of the different combos bellow:

This is about as extreme as it has every gotten for work use (I alternate between a desk job and needing my knives considerably more in the production facility)

This was the last several days. The Hanson fixed blade is really a perfect slicer, and the Shirogorov can handle anything you can possibly throw at it. Vics are just such good tools/knives I can't pass one up!

And this before I got the Hanson/when I don't carry it now.

I rotate the Shirogorov and the Diskin Flipper pretty regularly. I also have another Shirogorov that just came in that I am EDCing today, but I do not have a picture of it yet.

Today is just the Shirogorov Hati with my Vic Pioneer in copper ;)

Usually carry a CRK Small 21, or BM 531 on the right pocket clipped....Sometimes the Protech Tr4 if im in a scary place :D But there is always a SAK Alox Cadet in the left pocket. The color of course depends on which knife is in the other pocket :D

From left to right, the hammer/axe and the pliers in the glovebox, the blue Victorinox in my keyring, the green Victorinox card in my wallet, the black card with blade in shirt pocket, the small damascus custom and the silver multitool in the left down pocket of cargo shorts and the last one in the right down pocket of cargo shorts.
