how much ammunition do you have?

First off i was being SARCASTIC, as in funny hahahaha.

HOWEVER:

A) I'm well aware of what can happen on the business end of a firearm, when used by a proficent handler.

B) Publically advertising how much food/water/ammo/gasoline/diesel etc etc etc one has is NEVER a good a idea, no matter how good a shot that person might be.

I avoid talking about such perperation as i do not want it to be known by my neighbours that I have such items, particularly when they have done nothing to prepare for emergencies.

not ammuniton related, but several months ago when gas was mega high priced here in Canada, one of our tenants who i had talked with about preparing for disasters, tookit upn himself to help himself to my store of 22 liter x 6 jerry cans of gas.

that is why i do not like discussing "stockpiling" , even on the web. It is basic common sense. It really does'nt take much to locate a computer user.

back to the thread, my apologies to the OP of the thread for the hijack.

I could care less who knows what I have. I have nothing to hide. In the words of Mr T......I pitty the fool who thinks he can help himself to what I have!

My ammo is to pracrtice with and enjoy. If somebody sees I have ammo on here, how do they know where I live? Are they gonna go door to door? The goverment has bigger fish to fry then worryin bout my legal ammo. If it ever came down to going door to door taking peoples ammo and guns, I guarantee that they would not get anything.

I think I have common sense, but maybe I dont.

Sadly the only guns I own are of the Ron Burgundy Anchorman type.

The good thing is that they don't run out of ammo and i've got a Busse NMFBM at the end of each.

45ACP-Not enough
9MM-450 rounds
12ga.-75rounds
223-700rounds
22-1000rounds
303-20rounds(too expensive)
I need a good 357 revolver...I have 250rounds,no Gun

:DYeah I sold my SW 686, but kept the ammo, cause I thought it would be a good excuse to buy another.;) Mine was the 4in bbl. I am wanting somethin in the 2 1/8in range.

I have A LOT of handgun(.38sp,.357mag & 45LC) & shotgun(12 & 20 gauge) ammo.
I have no idea how much.Everytime I see it on sale,I pick up 100-1000rnds.

I need to buy more rifle ammo(7X57mm & .22lr).I only have a couple hundred rounds of each.
The 7X57 is pretty pricey(about a $1 a rnd),but the .22lr is just laziness on my part.:o

I keep all my ammo separate from my firearms in a fire proof(up to 3000 degrees F),climate controled safe.Same goes for the firearms in a separate bio safe.

I've got quite a bit but used to have more.

I'm not big into stockpiling ammo. I'm not that paranoid of a person. However if I can get a good buy on a quantity I'll go for it.

Probably down to 500 or less now but a few years ago I got 2 CASES of 9x18 for 90 each. That was sweet.

I think I have a lot of X39. I went thru one case and then when I was almost out the prices went up so I sort of picked up a lot of odds and ends at gun shows and sales rather than get another.

Always have a lot of .22.

For a while there I was going thru a lot cause I was shooting 3 or 4 times a week or more. But I adopted a dog that is totally freaked out by gunfire and thunder so anymore I shoot less cause he has to be put in the house while i'm shooting or he takes off miles down the road and I have to go find him.

We had a particularly bad set of thunderstorms this summer and I found him 2 miles from my house:rolleyes: Glad I have an ID tag on him.

.45: 5500 (All reloads I shoot 1000 rounds a month)
.22: 2000 (assorted)
7.62X39: 500 (wolf)
5.56: 2500 (M855 surplus)+25 30 round M-16 mags loaded with M855
9mm: 2000 (Winchester ball)
.357: 2500 (All old border Patrol loads!)
12g: 200 (bird shot mostly)
.308 Lake City Match: 1200 (Fresh from Camp Perry)
.40: 300 (My biggest weakness at the moment...)

I use ammo as a commodity. I buy sell and trade it to make a profit. When 90% of your friends are LEO's and Federal Agents you get some great deals... :)

I hunt avidly but like to keep some mags loaded just in case.

All ammo is stored in a hidden safe room. A majority of the firearms are in a safe in the safe room.

Not enough, a few of you make me jealous.

I have at least a box or two in each caliber I need but I plan to pick up a few more boxes of each in the comming months. I just bought a box of 9mm 250count for $50, I remember when that was $30 a year ago.

I have no ammo and no guns. And if I have ever posted a pic of a gun or had a gun, I sold it...a long time ago...to someone I never met before who paid cash. I don't recall even seeing a face. Most was non-functioning junk anyway.:)
