How Much Cash in INFI do you have ?

Not to mention that just because you have some INFI doesn't mean you ain't poor, by western standards at least. I'm not exactly sitting on a mountain of gold here, for example, and I'm bet I'm not the only piglet who isn't Richie Rich. It's just a question of where one chooses to put his money. I don't waste it on cars or fancy clothing or whatever, I put it in books and blades. :)

Ding Ding Ding!

There are HOGs with very few actual pieces of INFI. The so-called "Internet Kool Aid Slurpee Club" (credits to Don Rearic here) ain't just about numbers.

I visit the Busse forum frequently, rarely contribute, but really enjoy the humor of the koolade drinking bunch. I've never felt put off by the HOGs. Most of the banter here is tongue-in-cheek stuff. There will always be people that don't get it and feel offended for some reason.

Back on topic, I'm down to 4 pieces of Infi and I'd put the cash value at somewhere less than a nice Kimber .45 auto. I really need a Kimber and more Infi from Santa!

Can't help you with that Kimber, Stephen!

But I can offer 13 separate flavors of Kool-Aid! :D

I am sure there are many fine people here, but there are those that can't help flaunt their good fortune every chance they get and that definitely rubs a lot of people the wrong way.....I posted the link because many Busse supporters seem to be at a loss to understand why people are put off by them. This thread is a good example of what turns people off- "I've got more money in my wine cellar than in Busse knives, but not as much as in my classic car collection..." "here, look at my 300 Busse knives..." Gag, gag, gag......

I'm looking at being 54 years old soon. It was about 20 years ago that I stopped being concerned about what people though of me, what I do, or what I don't do. I tend to just worry about me and the people in my life; that they have a good life and are having fun.

There are people here in the Busse forum that I consider as “in my life” so if they enjoy a photo I post of 100+ knives then that is all I care about. This is the internet and I really can not be concerned about who happens by and how they feel about my knives or anything else that is a part of my life style that may be offensive to them.

A long time ago I was looking at the all bicycles I had at the time and asked a good friend “….why do I do that?” His reply was “Because you can.” Ever since that comment I have not needed any more rationalization to buy what I what, when I want. So the comments of anyone on an internet forum isn’t going to ever change that... no matter how much they gag. It is my life and if you don't like my life then live yours differently, I'm not going to stop you.

Best regards,
Tony G

I think this was a trick question! ...or maybe the Gov-Ment is involved!..or worst, the wives, trying to put a Tally on our INFI:eek: you'll get nothing from me, said the lil' tiny N.Y. piglet!
No INFI Tax here!:D

Amen, Tony G!!!

Kuribo - My INFI collection is valued somewhere between the cost of my monthly Bipolar meds and my Mazda 4 cyl pickup. Don't you just envy me?

Pig-malion, that is great! You have made me laugh and my day! Thanks.

[Rant on]
kuribo... There's a reason that there are sub-forums for many different production knife companies... So that we can, in our respective sub-forums, discuss in any manner we choose, the knives we love to use, collect, & trade. For YOU to step into any of these sub-forums and post a comment like this is just plain rude. You don't like us? OK, you're entitled to your opinion. However, when you make posts like this one, well... Ya won't find those of us, who frequent the forum you bash, liking you too much either. I'm tired of explaining how we are, why we like Busse knives, that we aren't some kind of cult, blah-blah-blah... ad nauseum... If ya can't get along, try moving along... Go insult someone else.
'nuff said.

Kuribo, It is clear you don't get it. Showing your knives is not flaunting. It is sharing. If you are unable to join in congratulating a fellow for what he was able to achieve and you are also unable to take any pleasure in another's happiness then it is no surprise that you have a totally erroneous perception of what occurs on this forum. I am sorry that you see the world through such a negative lens.

I have read all of the posts.....

What do I say???? Yes... I Work at Busse but here is my 2 cents...

I have NEVER seen a company care so much about customers (WE LOVE YOU ALL) I have never seen so much care and concern on ALL of our knives. I get 15-100 phone calls a day asking the same question..."Is it ready to ship" I always Laugh....2 weeks....but we are actually doing that now:):)

Crap.....WE ARE WORKING TOO HARD:)
