Why is A-2 getting left out?
I really, Really Like Black Cherry Kool-aid.
My Busse A-2 knives cost me less than any of my other A-2 knives but now are consistantly worth more Money than when I bought them.
I have less Busse knives now than in some years past, but the total value seems to be higher now than when I had more numbers, seems pretty cool to me.
I Bought for a year, I bought and sold for about four years and have bought for a couple more.
Value if I die?
Higher Sentimental value to my Wife and kids than the cash value, and they all have staked their claims as to what knives they want.
When I die, my Wife,Kids and friends are splitting up my gear, nothing left to sell at that point.
Talk nice to people that talk mean, makes them wonder, and in the end "Many" get converted, I have seen this again and again over the years.
Don't get hostile, do not get hurt feeling, get a thick skin and put a knife in their hands, a knife well suited to do the kind of work they want to do.
Back when I was a Dealer I got to deal up close and personally with people that were angry and Hostile to The Busse Combat Knife Company, especially Knife Makers and people that had ordered knive two to three years before and still did not have their knives, and back then you paid at the time the order was placed, think about it.
We have it easy now, pay when ready to ship, it is a beautiful thing.
Put a knife in the hand of an angry man, give him something to cut and watch the anger usually go away and often a smile grow in the face and an understanding grow as well.
I have sold many Busse knives to Knife Makers, and bought a few of them back as well.
(My Deal that was seven years in the making was from a knife maker, just not one that I had sold the knives to)
So, get a grip, do not send people away angry, give them some "Kool-Aid"(or what ever else they want to drink) hand them a knife and let them see for themselves.
