how much do you really drink?????

theres alot of threads and talk about drinking,, but i want to know how much do you really drink???i have at least 2 glasses of wine just about every evening with or after dinner.sometimes ill have a night cap also which consists of a shot of something strong.like rum,bourbon or vodka.me likey my drinks!!dont be shy,nobody is judging!! gotta be some other drinkers out there;);).
 
I'm good for a six pack a week. Maybe 8 beers by week's end. I pride myself on trying a new micro brew as often as I can. I just plain love good beer.
 
My every day routine is generally one glass of red wine with lunch, two with dinner, and a couple double shots of bourbon after that. Funny thing is that I don't get drunk. I have my dad to thank for that. I inherited his liver.
 
I don't drink at all, unless you count tasty cold diet Pepsi, or Diet Dr. Pepper.........


That is as strong as I get.
 
A lot... I mean A LOT... Of coffee!! :D

Quite honestly, I drink more during the 4 days of BLADE than the whole rest of the year... And that ain't much. Months can go by between drinks for me, and that includes beer and wine as well as anything stronger. I do occasionally go on a tear, mind you, but I'm really not big on booze.
 
Well, yesterday it was two tall cans of Steel Reserve, and some wesoly and bluberry pomegranate juice. Today it was 1 can of modelo, one Heineken, one Stella Artois, and three margaritas. But some times I really can't afford to drink.
 
Not as much as I used to. Early 20's was a lot of binge drinking, and a couple of years ago I went through about a year of nightly trips to the bar with coworkers. Lately it's on average maybe 10 beers a month, and I've given some consideration to giving up drinking all together.
 
There was a time..... after my divorce (ha ha... go figure) that I would have no problem drinking half a 750 of Crown Royal in an evening..... Wow... no puking even!

These days.... I'm calmer.... more at ease. I drink maybe a bottle of Crown a month.

I can take it or leave it. If we (Me and my wife) have guests who enjoy a drink or 10.... I'll indulge a lot more...... but I can get by fine without too.

Love Crown though...... MMMM MMMM MMMMmmmmmm
 
I'll go through about two 30 packs of Busch and a fifth of jim beam in a week. no kidding.

I'd say about a six pack a week but there are times that I won't have anything for a month. :eek::p
I bought a bottle of Knob Creek Sat last week and finished it last night. Almost a week! :o
It was SOOOOOOOO good. :thumbup::thumbup:
Buffalo Trace is my next purchase. ;)

My last drink was on Labor Day 27 years ago.


Enrolled as an outpatient in Tempe St. Luke's substance abuse program the following Tuesday.

No alcohol since.


No Regrets !

On the weekends, a respectible amount of beer.

I'm having a 40 of PBR right now just for fun. :D
 
After a very, very violent past filled with metheamphetamine and alcohol abuse (1 O.D. and several bouts of alcohol poisoning) I was forced into treatment and safely walked from that lifestyle to be the Father/Husband I was meant to be. I am still clean 18+ years later, but honestly maintenance drink as a clinical alky. I never get drunk anymore though. Not much now, about 2L of Vodka a week. I pray to stop before my liver totally gives out.
 
Even though I am in college I really don't drink..maaayyyybbeee once a month?

I pretty much hate beer (well, the beer that I have tried). The only tolerable one is yuengling. Miller lite and similar beers I am literally gagging by the end of it lol :foot:

I do like rum though. Admiral Nelson is pretty cheap and great to mix with cream soda or ginger ale.

I must say, the reason I dont drink is I had a bad experience in high school. In short, I passed out and threw up and defecated in my sleep i.e. lost all control. I am pretty sure I almost died lol
