how much do you really drink?????

From the age of 16-34,vast quantities of beer, spirits, speed, narcotics, hallucinogens. From 34 'til now (44) coffee and a cup of tea (the brew that built an empire) at bed time.Getting clean and sober was difficult but worth it.I'm a nurse and look after end-stage alcoholics all the time,I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.Dad was an alcoholic,so was my Grandfather. Most of my friends and my wife drink like a regular person, good for them.

Sometimes a few beers after work with friends or Dad. Sometimes a beer or 2 with supper. Almost never drink by myself, just to drink. A very, very rare occasional bourbon nightcap.

Of course, on the weekends, social drinking is pretty much the norm around here. Sometimes its a few beers, sometimes a whole bunch. Sometimes a bottle of hard stuff.

Sometimes a cigar too. I quit cigarettes last year about this time, but still smoke one every few months. They just arent that good anymore. Cigars are much more socially acceptable, and better anyway. I smoke maybe a cigar a month.

Crystal light rasberry, Milk, water, Coke zero.. I learned that worshipping the porcelin god was not a wise choice back in high school..

I am good for a couple drinks a week...sometimes not even that.

whether it a couple beers or wine or a glass hard stuff...I don't remember the last time I got drunk.

to be honest good strong coffee has been my poison of choice daily for quite a while.

Congrats to sober folk, cheers to drinkers.
From 18-32 I was a huge party guy. I got into lots of coke in 90s and went downhill 'till I packed it in with some guidance from courts and lot's of AA meetings after an accident.
I did the program at Westover Treatment Center (Thamesville Ontario) in May 99 to get better grasp on sobriety and to deal with issues.
My last drink/drug date - 98/08/21
Happy Joyous and Free!!!

I could drink a sixer every night but I try to refrain because working off beer is just a pain in the ass.

I probably drink a sixer every night.
