How much is too much for busse TGLB

I wouldn't pay it, but they are bringing that and more. I see know reason that they will not continue to appreciate in the next few years.

I am also guilty of knowing a knifes value and paying far more because it is what I want at that moment.

I think it depends if you intend to keep it forever or eventually will try to get your money back, also as others said depends how bad you want it.
Another thing you can do is get the WTB ad going, you dont have to have gold membership to do that.

If it were me, I'd save up $200 more and buy one of the B.I.G. Finish TG's KnifeHunter has for sale. They're Hawt!

Or a Badass TG 2014 satin with Tigerhide for about $700, (wish i could post pics) Unless the Fuller is a must have for you.

Why can't you post pictures? Send me a picture and I will be more than happy to post it for you ]

I sell you one of my TGLB's for $750 with sheath............$600 doesn't sound so bad now right?

In all seriousness, I really don't think $600 is that bad if the sheath is decent and or if the price includes shipping and fees. Just my two cents. Good luck with your search

If I was going to buy just one knife and spend that much money, it would be on the NMSFNO, followed very closely by the SFNO

I have a Black and tan comp finish TGLB with a Leatherman sheath. I have seen this knife with no sheath sell very quickly at 700.00 or more. I can honestly say that I would turn down 1000.00 for mine. The value is really going to depend on what sheath is with it and the blade finish, comp will be the highest as that finish was pulled fairly early in the TGLB run. G10 scales will add to the price as well.

I cannot imagine anybody spending $1,000 dollars for a TGLB comp finish or for that matter the Team Gemini 14 Satin with saber grind-Just my opinion-the Comp finish you have is very beautiful-you can buy a satin FBM LE with Tigerhide handles for the same price-I would not spend over $550 for a coated TGLB with a nice sheath $600 as the OP mentioned-Just my opinion

Rigs like yours have sold for big bucks...FACT

That model is hotly coveted due to TWD and the Competition Finish is A WORK OF ART IN STEEL!!!

I'm hoping my grab bag holds one CF TGLB that a Daryl Dixon wannabe returned to Wauseon last year because it had "flaws" in the finish, hahahaha!;)

Not saying anyone would offer 1000.00 but if they did I would turn it down.

Too much for coated, not enough for satin or competition. I paid a fair chunk for a satin tigerhide TG and think it is one of the best combos they have ever made. I won't pay what the Comp Finish goes for. For that that price I can snag some other Custom Shop awesomeness.

It depends on how much you want it. I have seen them in that price range. Especially with a nice sheath. You are going to pay at least $100 for a nice leather sheath.

Agree totally-The Team Gemini Satin is in my opinion the most desireable . I love the Saber grind on them-we all have different likes and dislikes and that is why Busse produces a variety of configurations

Can you guys imagine CS WTF with Tigerhide oh My.... I bet Boss probably
made him self one lol or 3

I have a TGLB with Competition Finish and Balck and Tan G10. I wouldn't buy another for $600, but I also wouldn't seel the one I have for that. For whatever that's worth.

As others have said (or suggested), it it comes with a nice custom leather sheath, $600 is not really all that much more than the seller would have paid new, and it if includes shipping and PayPal fees, the seller might just be breaking even (or less).

But that's assuming it's an actuial TGLB. Just make sure you aren't paying INFI prices for a Battle Grade Team Gemini.
