How much is too much for busse TGLB

I think if I see one at blade I might not be able to resist.
I like the BG version, but the original with the hollow grind, and LB treatment under the scales is pretty iconic

Indeed it is. The LB version is where it's at IMO. Busse makes a lot of fat, thick, ergonomic blades but not many with the LB treatment and it is a vast improvement for me.

I havent held the TGLB yet, but i got the 2014 TG, and cant really imagine needing it much lighter, but I believe the experts, and want to have a few different TGLB combos anyway, so cant wait to try it out.....come on, some one post one on the Exchange, with Canvas handle please. Thanks.

I've had both the TGLB and currently own a TG14. I personally prefer the TG14 over the Light Brigade models. The extra weight is nice.

I have owned all the TG variants (custom Bowie variants and such aside) and I really like them all, that being said the TGLB is definitely my favorite. The LB treatment helps with the weight distribution, at least in my hands. In all fairness, my TGLB was my first TG version, so it may just be that I'm so used to it that it's what I've come to expect, but none of the other versions feel quite right in my hands.

Lovin the TGLB Comp...

But with regard to the OP question: Value is absolutely subjective. It is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Trust me... there are times I would have paid $100 for a single beer.

I sold a box of shotgun shells for $100 one time in dove season. The birds were flying and a perpetually unprepared friend of my brother forgot his shells. I gave him his money back the next day minus $5. I thought maybe he'd learn from the experience. He didn't.

nice sheath! Who's the maker?

I say its all abput personal preference. I myself have paid some decent prices on knives, but mostly cause in the end ill be happier with the knife then the money. Nothing worse then missing out and kickin yourself for not spending a few extra dollars and now having to wait possible months before something you want comes up again. Especially if your pickey about blade n handle material.

Well it came in the mail the other day and....
Oh my god,Oh my god,Oh my god
This thing is every thing I expected and more I am so glad I spent the money on it.
I really like my hinderer but this just blew it out of the water for me. And I love the sebenza and this may be my new favorite knife we'll see when the new factor wears off.
But ether way I apsolutly love it

Mine is also that same combo. I am amazed with it every time I take it out. The combo of finishes on the comp finish is awesome.

Funny thing is that when I had Jerry autograph the sheath on mine he was looking over the knife and said 'You know, that is a really sweet knife'

You never forget your first one...;)
