How much is too much for busse TGLB

First off thanks for all the responses.
I looked up the sheath and it was about 50 dollers new so the knife itself is only 550.
The knife hunter one is in fact a team Gemini not the light brigade.
The knife in question is tanker grey with black handles it was a safe queen never used. But I plan on using it and never selling it.
As far as how much I want a tg or TGLB
They are the fixed blade for me sence the first time I seen it in the forum. I love the looks of that knife.
If not this one I'll probably get the big TG on knife hunter.
Is the original team Gemini just heavier ?

Every model of Gemini will SATISFY...

But here's some advice-- go with the TGLB first, I can tell you really are in love with that one!

Go with the one you like the best, we have just given our opinions on the various models available-follow your instincts and heart-all the models will get the job DONE! If you always wanted a TGLB, then get the one mentioned above-Good luck

You know what your completely right ime using some of my tax return to buy it. Ime 19 so don't have many bills yet
But as soon as it gets here ime going to pull the trigger.

If you are going to use it, wait for a user to come up for sale here or on the bay. Don't pay high prices for a Queen. Good luck, Jim.

Yes, these BladeShow TG's don't have the LB skeletonizing under the handles and don't have the fuller.

Good luck with which ever you choose!

Is there any chance that TGLB come back to production?

It's highly doubtful given it was in production longer than maybe any other Busse knife but who knows.

That being said, I've got a nice one I'll sell you for $850 with sheath :D

No one knows for sure except Busse-These were available for 4 years so my guess would be No! Can probably pick one up on the Blade Forum-if your quick enough!!

If experience is any gude, it's unlikely we'll see the TGLB as a regular release any time soon. It's run ended just a few months ago, and there have been several variations on the TG during "Operation Two Weeks." In addition to the TGLB, we've recently seen long TGs and short TGs and TGs made of SR101. That seems to about cover the bases (except maybe for a double-edged TG dagger that's been hinted at). So while you might be able to pick one up at Blade, or maybe in a post-Blade exttravaganzaaa (if they're still doing those), your best bet is probably the Exchange.

On the other hand, since they've only been doing "Operation Two Weeks" for a few months, and it's a radical departyure from the way they offered knives in the past, experience may not be such a great guide.

There was a beautiful one just recently bought on the exchange-it had Tanker Gray coating and Black and Green G10 handles with a Kydex Sheath-went for $600-to be honest with you the continued interest in these knives makes me wonder if Busse pulled the plug to early on them (even after 4 years)-They continue to be in high demand

I paid 420 for mine.. Think about it. As soon as you jump on one another that you like more will come up. Patience is a virtue.

I've got a couple and for what I do, the TGLB is my go to. It's thick, yet very knifey still, has rounded edges, which I prefer and feels great in the hand. There is nothing not to like IMO. Some people say, well I don't like a top guard and that is fine but I would recommend holding a TGLB before making that assumption. Good luck on buying one off the exchange, I'd say that's your best bet but they do pop up for reasonable on evil bay from time to time. Having said that, if a nice one pops up for a reasonable price in either circumstance, I'll be buying it so be quick my friend....be quick.
