How much snark could a snarksnark snark if a snarksnark could snark snark?

I feel like the BK&T forum is the earliest to bed of all the other forums. I think the traditional forum is just now heading to the club.

It slacks off here from time to time. I'd say most of the time it's because folks here are out using their gear.

Or having to go to work the next day. Which, fortunately, I do not have to do tomorrow.

I, however, will not be among the early a.m. posters - if all goes according to plan.

My excuse, I'm at work right now.

I go to bed between 8pm and 10pm depending on the day. I need to keep up with the kids.... that like to wake up at 6 or earlier.

Please, no..... I'm done spending money for a while.

Hmmm.... I don't think "done spending money" is appropriate phrasing, but it works in this application.

On a similar note, we turned in our notice that we are not renewing our lease for the apartment. :D

Yea I'm all monied out....

Going to pick out a shed/workshop here in a few... I'd like to get a bigger one but what's in the budget is a 10x20. Got a few options but what I'm having the most trouble picking is whether I want the door on the gable end or middle of the long front wall..

I like the looks of the door in the middle of the front long wall... But I hear gable end doors make for stronger buildings or some crap... Plus when I draw out how I'd like to set it up, the gable end door allows longer tables on both long walls...

Decisions..

Just got the wife a new gas grill... Birthday present. She wanted a gas grill since now we have an electric stove... The grill is sweet. Looks awesome, lots of room to cook, side table for sitting your beer...even a side burner for pots or pans...

Too bad it's not a charcoal grill LMAO

Flavor tastes the same. I never wanted a gas grill, because I always thought the charcoal gave it the flavor. I watched a show on the food network about Weber grills, and they had gas, and charcoal. They said it was the grease dripping onto the flame, that made the smoke, and flavor. Sure enough, I got a gas grill, and I can't tell the difference. Nice to just go out there and turn the grill on, haha. I do still have, and use charcoal grills though, as I just like the process I guess.

Seems easier to add some mesquite chips in a charcoal grill... But I enjoy the tradition/routine of charcoal as well.

Just seems more natural and outdoor like.

Same as I can start a fire in the woods with a bic that's in my pocket... Or I can go to my pack and pull out the fire kit... Takes longer... But the results are more enjoyable when worked for lol

But I would add one more detail to Murph's new logo...

;)

Smooth as a dolphin from the eyebrows down. :D
Take that JT! :p

Not gonna happen on this end. Chicks dig the beard unit.

I too was anti-propane snob for a long long time. Then it was explained to me how easy it is to use a foil packet of wood-chips to add real smokiness to a much-quicker way of cooking dinner. I don't agree that it's "just" the grease, but hey... Whatever works, baby! We now use our propane grill for a large majority of our cooking. It's quick, it works, it doesn't heat up the kitchen in summer time, the gas is the same or cheaper than using the inside range/oven, we have a backup if the power goes out, etc etc.

I have the best of both worlds - a side by side. Charcoal on the left (cast iron grills) and gas on the right. Don't use the charcoal side a lot, but it's nice to have when I have the time. Burgers come out better in a cast iron pan, anyway, but I like to grill veggies, potatoes and pineapple....

I don't even remember the last time I made a burger at home. If I'm gonna go to that much trouble to eat beef, I might as well splurge and have a steak.

Grilled veggie kabobs though... oh heavens yes. Angie's got me totally hooked on those.

I think my strategy will be to get a gas grill for the majority of the work and eventually pick up one of the lodge sportsman's grills for when I want to go charcoal and cast iron.

It's true, there was a scientific study showing men with beards looked sexier than when they were clean-shaven, although too long of a beard and you become psychologically more intimiating and less sexy. A good balance is the best bet. ;)

It's Tiberius, isn't it? Good morning/afternoon all.

I would just call him Mr. T, first names are confusing.
