I was at least half-kidding about the "chicks dig it" thing, because A) I'm happily married and B) I'm lazy. So I'd have a beard regardless :p

One time several years ago I cut my hair short and shaved my face clean after losing a bet for charity. I was both surprised and disgusted by the number of women who had already known me for years, that suddenly wanted to *ahem* jump on that bandwagon. I'm the same person I was yesterday, ya shallow little so-and-so. Kindly buzz off. :thumbdn:

I have zero trust in "polls" about what women like. Some like big dumb raggedy-ass haggard dudes like me, some like pretty little girly boys, some like girls. Humans are weird like that. The heart wants what it wants. *shrug*

I'm just super glad that my wife likes me. The rest of y'all are on your own :p
 
Found this ugly sucker in my yard. Never seen this type before and my insect and arachnid guides are still packed. I think it's a non poisonous garden orb weaving, but I'm not sure. Help to identify

There are definitely lots of beard loving females out there. I regularly have women come ask to touch my beard. Its a lot more fun when my wifes not there.. :D
 
I dont know what kind of spider that is Tom, nor do I know if there is any difference in the species of orb weavers between here and there. But the orb weavers we have here in Indiana are quite beautiful creatures. They get pretty big but are pretty much harmless, we have them in our flower gardens here and we leave them alone, kids think of them as pets. They don't look anything like that ugly bastard in your pic.

I've been watching Craigslist and a few local sites for a decent 9.9-20hp outboard motor for a few months and all I have found is a bunch of overpriced crap. I think I finally found a good one today. It's a 1996 15hp Johnson. The guy sent me a video of it and it looks line it runs great and is in really nice shape. I can't look at it until Wed, so I'm crossing my fingers that it will still be around.
 
Crappy work days always always come to a nice end with a big glass of rum and a steak on the bbq.

:thumbup: I got 4 8oz sirloins on the bbq right now. One for tonight. One for lunch tomorrow at work. Two for a snack sometime on my weekend. :D

I'm about to leave for work right now but it should be an easy day. Bought some new hot sauces to try out so I'm gonna swing by the taco stand on my way to work and grab enough burritos to last me through a 13 hour shift. Don't worry, I'll be near a toilet.

Just missed a deal on some blades. Probably for the best, I told myself I was gonna put some money into savings this paycheck and leave it there.i

That's a good way to do it. My crappy week/day ended with the boss dropping in the office at 3 with, "I'm done with it this week. Lets go across the street for a beer."
