How often do you change your EDC?

I seem to use one maybe 2 during the week.
When I have a big delivery at work and need to break down boxes I'll pick a newly sharpened one, or maybe a beater.
On the weekend I'll usually have one of 2 or 3 beater/garage/yard knives on me and then a nicer one when I go out.

So, I'll say I use 3-4 knives a week.

How many you go through?

I try to use a different knife every day, cycling through at least 10-20 knives I like to carry.

Most of them are Spyderco Southards, though.

I also try to switch it up everyday. But once in a while, one comes around that just won't let me! :D

I have about 30 'favorite' knives!!! So I take 2 nice ones to play with while I'm driving to service calls and 1 beater for work.
When I come home and take the dogs for their loooong walk, I'll switch out to 2 more nice knives to flip or flick while walking.
Wish I could come up with an excuse to carry more!!!

I have two or three knives I like to take to my work that I rotate through in no order, just what I feel like using. Around the farm I choose the right one for that days tasks, and recently I will carry one large and one small, the small one usually being used for really messy jobs. It all depends what I am doing that day, the weather, if I will be wet all day, then stainless, or if I need a tougher steel, I just go by whatever the day is going to be like.

Currently, every 9.5 years.

I carry something different once in a great while or when traveling by plane but the one that has been pocked 75% of the time since getting it ~2007 has yet to be bumped from its spot.

Rarely I change it up. Once in a while I will carry something from my safe to change it up a bit. (usually to remember someone or something on occasion)
My EDCs have been:
1)Kershaw/Emerson 6k (modified to clip point with lanyard) ~recently came up missing~
2)A fixed blade 1095 custom EDC with ironwood handles (been my carry everyday for the past month and a half)
3)A CRKT M16 14M

I tend to stick with one for months at a time (with only the odd swap out for a short time for one reason or another). I've been carrying a CKF Morrf (2, 3, or 4) almost exclusively for many months.

Longest was a year, average is 2-3 months with one knife. I'm attempting to break my record with the umnumzaan. Currently on month 2.

It depends.
► If I have a new knife, I'll likely carry it until I get an understanding of it's strengths and weaknesses.
► If I am changing activities during the day, I might swap out the knife I'm carrying. I'm a knife knut and I do that. The knife I carry to church on Sunday morning is maybe not the one I'm going to use when I do yard work.
► I often go for days at a time carrying the same knife, then switch to something else for a spell.

I had carried the same knife for 2 years straight, but this year decided to change edc's each week.
Since I bought my vic recruit in mid November ( real early Christmas ) i decided to carry it till the end of the year, at which point I'll go back to my weekly knife change.
Less than 20 of my 100+ knives are good users that I actually edc, so I try to give them some good use and 1 day isn't enough.

I switch it up quite a bit, but I still generally have one go-to knife that I most often grab for daily carry (currently ZT0095) . I tend to switch it up when I wear a pop of color, and then I like to wear a watch and carry a blade to match that color. Also, when I know I'm going to be doing some particularly hard work for the day I carry a more heavy-duty knife (usually the Benchmade Adamas). When I get home and change into house clothes I carry a Spyderco Pacific Salt.

This pretty much sums up my carry philosophy, as well.

Right now I'm carrying a Kershaw/Emerson CQC-9K that I recently picked up, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to make the carry rotation. Which is too bad, because I like it quite a bit.

I usually rotate 3 knives per week for carry outside the house (non-users). My users are permanent (until they break). I have a $7 Ozark Trails folder, and a decent flea market knife for house tasks. Both are 3-4 years old! I always have my SAK Classic in my wallet, and a SAK Super Tinker at my computer desk. I also have a couple of Moras I carry when I am doing yardwork or riding my bike. I actually use maybe 3 per week

Change? EDC means something, you know. If you are often changing your knife you don't really have an EDC knife.

I change my EDC once every couple of years or so.

I do the same thing. Have two to play with while driving and walking dog.

Once every couple of weeks or whenever I think of it. Sometimes I'll carry the same knife for months at a time though. What throws me is going from tip up to tip down. Takes me about a day or two before I deploy correctly.

I try to have a true EDC folder that stays with me for months or years. I'll buy another knife every once in a while if something catches my eye, but I tend not to keep those knives very long.
