  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How old are you 110 owners?

i`m just under 21 and own a 110 , theres no history to it though , i just went out and bought it brand new . 110 with fionger grooves. bought it because i wanted a classic folder.

It's gents like you SirGalant that will continue the legend of it's form, fit, and function. I hope you hang on to them both....I wish I had. My first 110 was taken by an Army MP. I'm not big into "stuff"...ya know, the "you never see a U-Haul following a hearse" mentality. But that 110 is one of the few things I truly miss.
Getting all poodle eyed...again...

my aim is to one day be able to pass it down to my grandchildren if i ever have kids , same with my schrade 340T (made in ellenville new york , not chinese)
can i ask why the army MP confiscated your knife?

I was returning back from Christmas break to Infantry School at Ft. Polk, LA.
Had to check in and they had a room with tables to check your stuff coming back. Also had like a mailbox thing to drop your "contraband" in. I didn't put it in the box.
But I guess I was wrong as a MP going through my gear took it.

50 something. just got the custom 110 last year. buffalo scales, bg-42 blade

I am 69 and have a drawer full of bucks. Got my first 110 back in the '70s and my last one a few months ago.

Hi nolan,

You're 69 years old, you've been collecting knives most of your life, and you're on the internet still talking about them.

I just read my future. I'll be a knife nut the rest of my life too! :)

Well, traditionally speaking if it's not a BUCK;)...

WHY???? Preston

you sure you posted in the correct forum:confused: :)...

you guys appreciate traditional knives such as the buck 110 , i thought you might appreciate that.

Late bloomer here. I carried a knife in my pocket since I was ten years old. Built up a big collection of everything but Bucks. Something made me call the factory store in El Cajon back in 2001, when I was 46. I asked if they had any 110s with stag grips. They sold me one of those with the deer cutout on the blade. Then they told me about the custom shop. As Little Richard would say, "Look out! Look out!" Now I can barely open the knife drawer because of all the Folding Hunters in it.

42 this coming February. My EDC Buck 110 was born in 1989. Had a 110 as a kid but have no idea how old or what even happened to it. My two extra 110's are probably less than 2 years old (bought in January as after Christmas sale items and never opened).

52 and I just bought my first 2 Buck 110s in October. I have had a Puma since the 80s, but never got around to the 110. I am very impressed with the quality.

I also really like the Buck pocket knives. The Cadet being my favorite.
