  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How old are you 110 owners?

...Welcome back Buck Bennett...Good to see ya agin'...Still have that 100 Year Anniversary 110 ya got??...

well i come in at 67 got my first 110 three weeks ago on e-bay,got a new 110 this week at a local sportsgoods place its a ingraved hand signed by chuck buck himself and dated 06.i think i'm getting the bug for 110's.

Age 49, first 110 @ 12, still have it, it was confiscated by a sherrifs deputy when I was 14, walking down the street after curfew one night, had it in my pocket, he took me home but took the knife, got his badge number and my dad got it back but he had scratched his initials in the brass, I guess they got to claim stuff in the evidence room if nobody claimed it. It really made me mad so I ground down the handle and customized it a little but never did finish it after 35 years.
Well, I got bored today and started sanding and after 35 years it's starting to come around.

1/7/07 More sanding, polishing and a couple new brass pins and it'll be ok

I'll be 53 in March, (sheesh, 53, that can't be right!). I can't remember the first 110 I had. It was quite awhile ago. Never had more than 1 or 2 knives at a time. Somewhere along the line I just lost track of the ones I did have. Didn't have any for the longest time. Now, since this past Christmas, I've recieved 1 110 for Christmas, and bought 2 more 110FG's for myself off e-Bay. Within the past coupla hours, I bought a 110 for a buddy. A Buck 110 Sambar Stag Yellowhorse Native Steel, pointy thing.

I've been lurking here ever since I first veiwed Goose's previous avatar. Bought the old lady a Zebco 202, but it just ain't the same...

Blub,
He scratched his initials into the brass so he could identify it later on if it was found to have been used in a crime. Standard procedure for items impounded by the police. Not nice for knife collectors though. :(

Since everyone else has 'fessed up, guess I should too!:D
I am 57. I bought my first Buck 110 when I was 13, the same day I bought my first shotgun. The shotgun was a Savage OverNUnder 20ga with a .22 rifle on the top. I bought the Deluxe model. Paid $35 dollars for the gun but cant remember how much the Buck 110 was at that time. I still have the shotgun but lost the Buck110 somewhere down the line.:grumpy:
I bought my second Buck110 about 15 years ago and still have it. I kept it in my garage in a drawer so it was handy and boy has it seen abuse!
For some strange reason about two months ago I was flying thru Ebay and stumbled on a Buck knife for sale and it got me to looking for more. I think that is when the ADDICTION took hold of me. I have purchased around 30 variations of Buck 110 in the past two months or so, spent nearly $3 grand!
My wife thinks I have finally LOST MY MIND and keeps asking me what is she going to do with all these knives after I am gone. I keep telling her its an "investment" and will increase in value over time. I also keep telling her she doesnt need to worry about what she will do with all these knives as I intend to leave them all to my son!
Here is a pic of the Savage. Selling today for around $500 I am told.

Im 35. Got my first 110 when I was 14 for Christmas. When I was 18 a so-call friend stole it , but I didn't have proof. Know I own only 3. A standard 110 with serrations, and 2 stag Alaskan guides. One for using one for showing.

Heres a picture of them.

I'm 36. Bought my 110 with "birthday money" when I was 16 or 17. Still have it and wouldn't part with it.

I am 49, got my first 110 when I was probably about 16. My first 112 when I was 49.

I am an Aires, rubenesque, dark hair turing to grey, a smoker, beer drinker, don't do drugs or liquor, don't care much for wine, Christian in faith but not overzealous, fanatic, or go to church, like walking on the beach at sunset while holding hands, puppys, reading (favorite book is "Guns, Germs, and Steel The Fates of Human Societies), having dinner at restuarants while holding hands across the table as we gaze into each other's eyes, and watching romance movies (my favorite movie is "Full Metal Jacket" then "Beaches", "Ghost", and "Love Story" in that order) next to a fire while lying on a bear skin rug in my Speedos while you hone my knives.

Ummmm, Hmmmm, hope you find yourself a fine knifenut LADY. :D I'm currently reading Guns, Germs and Steel. 47 and had a 110 in my early teens, never owned a 112 but they look cool.

Well, at 53 I am feeling right at home here. :)

I have been carrying a knife since I was 10, but I got my first 110FG only last year. I expect to add a few more custom 110's in the future.

LOL...I forgot I did that goofy post. :D
BUT, that IS a great book.

I'm thirty and got my first 110 when I was thirty. About two weeks in.
