  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How old are you 110 owners?

I'm 26...I've had my 110 for 4 years now (xmas gift from my girlfriend).

Even though the 110 isn't really my style it has grown on me and I truly appreciate it's classic design and quality. Not only is it a damn good knife, the fact that it looks 'normal' keeps the police from hassling me about it, which is a huge bonus.

I am older than dirt.

Old enough to have purchased this in 1968.

And, I guess this would be considered an upside down stamp.....and on the wrong side.

Been laying around for years. I really should clean it up a bit.

did you ever get any more info out of Joe or anyone on that one? Would love a copy if so. I managed to come up with one shortly after you first posted that one.

Seems I remember a big question mark on it.

Thats from one older n dirt to another....:o Geeze,,,I can go on social security in a couple months...This can't be happening to me...:grumpy:

I got my first 110 when I was 16, back in 1965. It was a cool knife, but I really was disappointed by the edge that I got on the 440C blade. I was used to carbon steel blades. The 420HC and BG-42 blades take a much better edge. I have a 560 (titanium handle) with a BG-42 upgrade blade that is a lot handier to carry.

Well goose,

We need to take your step mom in post #126 and my mom here out for a little R&R. As you can see she collects a differnt type of knife....not Bucks :(

:) Social Security means more money to buy Bucks! That can't be bad!

Joe tagged it as a Third Version, Seventh Variation. I do remember there was one that seemed to be identical on the Bay just a week or so after that. Is that the one you got?

Haven't seen another since.

I've learned a lot since then, though. It's been fun learning.

Never realized I had such a nice knife

Beat it pretty hard for about 20 years.

Dave.....you are too kind.

Your compassion for homeless, beat-up and tired old knives is well known to all.

I am inspired by your charity and have decided to try to emulate your good works by opening up my own nursing home for elderly, decrepit and homeless Bucks.

I hear there are others who are similarly inspired and more such places of refuge are being built every day.

You should be proud of what you have done to help these venerable and distinguished old warriors.

Keep it up!

.

Yup,,,thanks for the info. I might not have been watching for it had you not talked about yours.

and then, I believe that folks are out there reading these posts and when they see excitement about a collector, they toss one up on ebay. Seems to happen a lot....

The only info I have on it is in that first thread where I asked about it.

If you want to review that thread, just search the Buck Forum for Guam.

It will pop right up

I got a 110 in about '69. I was in high school then. I still have it.
